Deontay Wilder Discharged From Hospital, Suffered Broken Hand In Second Loss To Fury

Yeah...I've since seen that.
He broke his hand landing on Fury
not sure how it would be different if he landed a few more? More chances to break it
either way none of this had any influence over the outcome. We have 3 fights worth of evidence that Fury can take Wilders best and still get up, and that Wilder has a shaky chin given a relatively standard puncher like Fury damaged him with every shot
So far, the only report of this seems to be coming from Malik Scott. I'd rather hear about that from a more creditable source.

Malik Scott Reveals Wilder Broke Hand, Says Fury Was 'Greater' Than Deontay

I think Wilder screwed himself when he decided to put lots of weight on up top to combat Fury's weight and leaning but totally neglected his legs which were what actually would be taking all the weight of Tysons leaning.
I like Malik Scott but him and Deontay come across as very naive in their decision making and because Wilder has surrounded himself with yes men and become a full time diva nobody had the balls to tell him where he was gojng wrong.
He picked the gloves to have a built in excuse when he got knocked out.
It seems to me like Fury's Paffen gloves got in his head and he didn't think straight.
He didn't hurt his hands - his punching power is just grossly overrated.

He's a moron for using those gloves when he's hurt his hand fighting in them in the past.
Even Andre Ward on the commentary team expressed surprise that a fighter at this stage of his career wouldn't be dead certain of what glove he needed to wear for a fight of this magnitude.
Wouldn't have made much difference. By the time that he broke his hand (the 8th round) he was totally gassed anyway.
Tbh I'm surprised that he got enough force into the punches by then to break any bones, but you could clearly see that he'd done it because he held his right hand with his other hand in the 8th.
Should have used a knuckle duster like Fury lol :p:lol1:
He used the same horsehair gloves that Fury used albeit the Everlast ones.
Yes but he and his team were still complaining that the Paffens on the table were different to ones they had seen previously.
Given he was creating such an issue about the gloves beforehand, I have no idea why he didnt just pick up a pair of the Paffens that Fury was wearing and get on with it.
