I’d say so. Too big for guys like Ali and Louis. Lennox could give him a good fight but I’d still favor Tyson Fury. Let’s hear it for the new GOAT!!!!!

Wilder is not that good, work backward its a very bad era of HWs, its the super HW era they win mostly because of their size, the undercard Cuban HW is a better boxer than Fury and Wilder put together, Im not knocking their courage or that they are the best winners out of today's action, but GOAT I doubt it very much. Wilder is the crudest HW champ Ive seen he has very little boxing skill, how on earth does he think staggering around into his opponent's power shot is not going to get him knocked out, he don't know which way to move and that's basic stuff, he is a fighter with a big heart and big power and terrible boxing ability, Fury can box and is huge physically and he likes to lay all that size on his opponents which is fair play tactics if you let him, Wilder should have gone to ground every time he did until the ref starts stopping Fury, Wilder wasn't smart enough to even survive.
No.
He unfortunately will reign over an era that won't allow him to be considered the GOAT as the division isn't even close to those of the past.
If you measure it head to head in imaginary fights against whoever from the past, then he'd prob beat them....so if that;s how you rate things, then sure..he's the GOAT lol
would he as the goat have to beat at least ONE all HOF hw. You guys say that Wilder is trash, but want to say that Fury is the greatest for beating a "trash fighter". lol. How does that work?
6'9, 270+. Moves great, great stamina. Great intelligence, can mix up his style depending on what he needs. Recovery powers after getting hurt have proven to be top quality so far as well.
The only thing he doesn't have in the elite category is power, which is a bit surprising for a guy his size, but he hits plenty hard enough.
When you're that size you shouldn't be able to move like he does, and you shouldn't have the stamina he does. As others have said, he is a tough fight for anyone all time because of his height, reach, weight, ring IQ etc.
This has to stop...wilder is not a yardstick on measuring a fighter when he beats him.
let fury face usyk or Joshua then we can start comparing until then fury will have to wait and imagine if whyte lays fury out...people are gonna look pretty stupid
Whyte? The guy who a 40 year old small Povetkin KOed? Not that guy?
Greatest, no. That will take more great victories, which requires time. But if you mean “the guy who could beat all the rest,” then, yeah, I think you can make a good argument for Fury. In fact, I’d make the argument myself. A 6’9” monster who has his skill, speed and heart, and moves the way he does is extremely hard to beat. Don’t care what anyone says.
He'll never have the resume to be considered the GOAT but h2h he's a problem for anyone past or present.
Absolutely agree.
I'd love him to go and prove a bit more on the resume, but he's certainly a genuine fight for anyone in history.
Maybe strangely, I still think Joshua beats him head to head.
No, Klitschko was old and Wilder was way too unproven. He think he potentially can be based on the eye test but he's gotta beat at least two more top fighters in his division I'd say. At the moment that's probably AJ and Usyk.
How the hell was Wlad old????? Fury beat him when he was at the top.
But in saying all of that, what I have just said.
I like Tyson Fury's team, and the duo of Sugar Hill and Tyson Fury.
I am pleased they won, but I would of been also pleased with Deontay Wilder prevailed.
Note: I don't think this Kronk Fury is unbeatable, he is not miles better than these guys. The fights will look differently, when he is in there with are more varied big puncher. Wilder is aggressive, he is game, but you can only imagine what a big puncher 'With variation would of done to Tyson Fury'.
They are all hitting him, Fury is not hard to solve or hit these days. Lennox Lewis would be hitting him, Mike Tyson would be hitting him, Riddick Bowe would be hitting him, Evander Holyfield would be hitting him 'And those guys are coming with more than just one trick'.
Anthony Joshua will be hitting Tyson Fury, Dillian Whyte will be hitting Tyson Fury.
You get the picture.
Tyson Fury is ranked number 1 right now, he as finally defended his titles 'Well done'.
But this era, and war is not concluded. There are no easy roads, in which Fury can traveling down now 'There are no easy fights for him'.
That was not a easy fight for him last night.

He has just been decked twice, by a aggressive but not very clinical or surgical finisher.
Tyson Fury is not miles better than these guys.
It is not for certain he beats Dillian Whyte, if he gets past Ottin Wallin.
Kronk Fury is there to be hit, mark my words 'In all of his remaining big fights, he is getting banged about win or lose'.
Not the GOAT because it's too early in his career to even begin to think about that. These three wins against Wilder and his win against Klitschko puts him in the All Time Great bracket though.
People saying that he hasn't defended any titles seem to forget that he's defended his Lineal Championship title 8 times now, including three times against one of the hardest punchers in heavyweight history.
We haven't seen the best of Tyson Fury yet either and probably won't see that for another two or three years, which is actually quite scary when you think about it lol
I can see him beating Whyte, then the winner of the Usyk vs Joshua fight to unify the titles then the loser of that fight to defend them.
I can see Fury retiring undefeated, there's nobody good enough in this division to beat him.
I’d say so. Too big for guys like Ali and Louis. Lennox could give him a good fight but I’d still favor Tyson Fury. Let’s hear it for the new GOAT!!!!!
Let’s see him against usyk this guy gives angles and if Tyson stays flat footed like he did tonight.
You can see what a dancer like Ali can do.
but being a weight bully is not really boxing attribute for being called a GOAT.
