if Wilder retired tomorrow would you consider him an ATG HW

Wilder's best wins were knockouts of 40 year old Ortiz in fights where he was getting out boxed. Wilder is like the rich man's Earnie Shavers. Wilder was a champ with 10 defenses, but he'll never be considered an ATG. His legacy can only go down from here, if he goes the Roy Jones route of being a dominant fighter to getting knocked out many times.

Of course not. is he one of the most gripping fighters to watch? Yeah, you just never know if he’s going to land a ridiculous shot. He’s also been part of a great trilogy in terms of rivalry and pure entertainment, but reality the difference in quality between the two was never that close. Like him or not, people will look back on him as a very entertaining knockout artist and giving people entertaining nights, but he’s not an all time great fighter. His power is real though. Still, people talk about people like Vitali as a great fighter and his resume might be worse than Wilder’s.

He might go down as technically the worst HW world champion in history. It's literally like watching somebody who can't box but just has a huge right hand. That's pretty much what he is.

Hell no, he got dominated 3 times in the only fights that mattered in his career. If you can’t give wilder credit, you can’t give fury credit. there’s no champion without a challenger, wilder is the best challenger. fury an ATG in my eyes for doing that. So wilder is a ATG too I see only fury is getting up after 4th round. wilder can fight on and off rack up more wins.

hall of famer...based on what? certainly not boxing resume. i mean its called hall of fame so yeah hes famous for beign a hype job but that doesnt seem like the kind of thing you would reward with accolades, statues, etc...we cant be putting every hype job in the hall cause that will make the real good fighters look bad, eventually they prob wont even show up to the ceremony! if Sylvester Stallone can get in and Arturo Gatti can get in then I don't see a reason why Deontay Wilder can't get in either..Remember, that he is only the sixth man in boxing's heavyweight history with at least ten title defenses of his WBC title belt. That's an elite class in and of itself.

Wilder resume is pretty much chisoras level of wins, except with less losses. I actually like Wilder despite all the daft excuses and despite the clear losses, and his performance and heart last night were that of a man who gave everything which is all I want to see from a fighter. For beating Wladimir who had aged over night the fight prior against bryant jennings And the wlad win was hardly in impressive fashion Then fought wilder absolutely huge punches but again we already seen him schooled twice by ortiz just has that one lucky big right hand ..it's hardly ali beating foreman wilder started boxing late and you can see it in his fights look at the first round of wilder fury 3 ..he stuck to his game plan for 1 round then reverted to his kid fighting in playground style
