I noticed bell rang over 6 seconds before the round was over. Joshua leaning into the ropes and was ready to be taken out.
Anyone else know what happened?
I think the DAZN graphic was just off. When it appeared on screen for the first time in the 12th it had only fallen by 5 seconds, but the round was older than that. Maybe 10 seconds or so.
I saw the tv production cut the seconds left as well. A lot of people lost a lot of money on their milking cow Saturday night. I have never seen a fight be cut off six seconds to early.
- -Gonna have to wait until U get out of diapers, what, sometime the next decade?
:baby:
Joshua looked exhausted in the final seconds, ready to go (take a look at his face when the bell rang). I have a feeling "they" saved him from a knockdown/knockout. One more shot by Usyk could have done some damage I believe.
I've seen similar things happen on DAZN a few times. Regardless though, I don't think he was gonna get Richard Steele'd ala Chavez Taylor...
The Estrada-Cuadras II and Kambosos-Selby fights the same thing happened at suspect times as well. Raises some eyebrows...

I think it's probably just some confusion because the ref made them touch gloves at the start of the round. It didn't make any difference to the result though. I don't even think Usyk was even really trying to knock him out, just put his stamp of authority on the last round to make sure he got it. Even if he was, those extra six seconds probably weren't enough to finish the job.
