Usyk now has to be #3 pound for pound at worst

usyk has done it in more than one division. fury is just 6ft 9...he isnt a pound for pound. a 6ft 6 version of fury would struggle because of the dimished reach advantage.

He has to be Top 3. His resume is ridiculous.

Inoue for me is largely the eye test, I love guys who attack the body but what Inoue does is more like watching a building get demolished. Usyk is now eye test backed up by unifying all belts at cruiser and becoming a holder of multiple belts at heavyweight.

If Crawford can be rated so high based on unifying 140 then doing the minimum at 147 then Usyk should be #3 definitely

Canelo needs every advantage, legal & non legal to win a fight, sorry but thats not a no.1 p4p world champ for me. Choosing the path of least resistance... I just don't see anyone between 160-168 who I'd pick to give Canelo anything close to a pickem match. And if we're gonna extend the range to 175 (which even considering that already says a lot) there's just Bivol and Beterbiev who are definitely dangerous fights but really only because of the size difference. Maybe Jermall Charlo in a year or two after a careful jump up to super middle. But otherwise yeah to me the essence of pound for pound is a guy so good nobody across 3 weight divisions feels they can credibly threaten them and that's Canelo right now for sure. I’d put him at #2. I want to see him face Fury now, he’s a big underdog in that fight but if he pulls it off, he’d become a true modern ATG.

Pound for pound is made up imaginary nonsense. What usyk is though is one of the best in his division, only fury has an argument for being better currently.

I like Terence Crawford a lot and he's my favorite active fighter to watch fight now but like, if a portal opens up and an alternate reality 147 pound sized Usyk steps out and challenges him to a fight I still don't think I can pick the winner.
