Oscar De La Hoya is out of the hospital now that the Belfort fight is over...and he's in the best shape of his life. Even better than when he was 23 years old and fought Julio Cesar Chavez. THE BEST SHAPE OF HIS LIFE!!! He'd have destroyed Belfort. Damn lucky for Vitor that Oscar had Covid...because he was in the best shape of his life.

not going to lie, i was pretty surprised, i was even chatting chit about how he was probably flabby and then someone posted his recent pics right before he went to the hospital.
I dont know how much of a positive it is overall though, sure he looks good but he lost a ton of weight in a short period of time so i dont know what he put his body through to get there and also with older guys we seen guys like RJJ who was shot with bad reflexes and bad timing but he was still ripped well into his 40s. Holyfield also who was very trim for a 58 year old but he has no speed, reflexes or balance.
I know I can look like I’m in shape still on the outside, but that’s not the same as running around the block a couple times. Image is everything though, and bodies sell fights. Vitor should be ready to go again at any moment realistically. Still maybe it was a blessing in disguise to be off of that card.
responding like an annoying tw*t only confirms you're a tw*t.
Nice comeback kid.
Now go lock yourself in your room with your double layer mask.
Oh yeah. Don't forget to schedule your appointment for that Booster.
Well shoot, I just committed misinformation, punishable by death. Was a true enough statement though. I honestly haven’t been following his recovery. I just saw the picture of him in the hospital with the post and figured it was current with the quote. If the quote was even current. Well I’m glad he wasent in the hospital for long. All those gun shot victims waiting in line lol. Anybody got a pic of him during training? .

a 38 yr old girl died not far from where i live TODAY..wasnt vaccinated..and another 32 yr old girl died a few weeks back. the hindu variant is def taking names..but it is doing it in random ways which makes it intelligent.
ive had 1 dose a couple of months back with another due but have caught and had covid for a week now...it's not a flu or a cold.
it isnt as severe as the worst cold or flu ive had...it keeps changing. one min ive got a sore throat, the next im sneezing and my throat is fine, then im having a dizzy spell, then ive got body ache's etc. woke up today after good sleep and felt good, was thinking 'finally im better' only an hour later im like...fffff im about to fall im so dizzy. my isolation period ended and i decided i wanted some fresh air so went for a walk (not around ppl).
lost sense of smell and a weird taste/smell internally, like burning but not sure what i can compare it to. im assuming it's an internal bacterial infection but i cant sense where it is...i fking hope it isnt building up in my lungs..breathing is fine so far.
Cool story. I'd give a f*ck but I'm all outta those.
Blond…have you lost your mind?
No, no, it’s not lost just merely misplaced… it’s here somewhere I know it. I remember taking it out so I could bet on Maravilla to beat Cotto…
I actually remember thinking Sergio would win. Then I saw the build up promotion and Sergio refused to let anyone even see him shadow box, and was in a tracksuit the whole time. Then I saw a pic of him come out looking pretty chubby. I was surprised because he was supposed to be an ex bicyclist and cardio guy. A guy like that i my ends up getting fat if he can’t train, he had bad wheels. I was concerned. Then my Dad who is by far the best at predicting any fight tell us that Sergio is “Leaking Oil”. Then I was really concerned. Course I stuck to my guns, I should have known when Sergio was wearing Jammers to cover the knee braces and put on roller skates instead of boxing shoes. Sigh.
Still tell me what you don’t like and do like about the matchup?
Right. A teachable moment. If I don’t learn now, what’s next? Chewing gum in Singapore? Am I the only one that would be happy to see Oscar vs Sergio Martinez?!! Sergio only two years younger. Oscar could drag him up a bit of weight. No reason it couldn’t happen at 175lbs.
Blond…have you lost your mind?
I know, but Oscar is a really powerful figure in the game. His legal and team could easily make it up. But I am optimistic that covid doesn’t do Jack from 2x personal infection experience before my vax. Fighters getting it and the fights cancelled I don’t really buy it much. Either way, I hope Oscar is alright and shouldn’t over do it in training. His heart TBTH isn’t made for fighting anymore, assuming he is a coke fiend, which, with his constant Nasal drip for years, he’s on the yayo heavy
Nah Thug. You got the drip part right because he probably has a deviated septum from over abuse doe!
As soon as Vitor dropped Holyfield, Oscar quietly pulled the IV from his wrist and told nursing staff,”I know you really need this spar for others, I will continue my Quarantine at la Casa.” Lmao
I think death would be a tad harsh TBH...I think a caning should suffice for a first offence.

It was a few days.

Yeah he had full moon face at that broadcast. I haven’t seen any update pics while he was training though. Being hospitalized for a few weeks will suck the weight off you though. I would have liked to have seen him vs Vitor. I had him winning. I figured if he could maintain his style with the high guard and economical footwork, he’d eventually start getting to Vitor with the jab and hook. Oscar is so much more skilled than Vitor as a boxer. Vitor still had that mma stance in there vs Evander. MMA guys think they are great boxers but they aren’t. Save Anderson Silva. I wish he did Boxing all along. I know he was the P4P in mma, but let’s face it this is a boxing forum. His power is so surprising with those skinny arms. But he lands sharp and clean. Great counters.

oscar lost a ton of weight from that broadcast he was on in the spring. probably a good 40 or more pounds. IDK what the fuk he did to lose it but hes got to be a mess.

He's pretty crazy now guys
"best shape of his life"
If he’s in the best shape he’s ever been in then he must not have been very fit in his younger years. Oscar is having geriatric delusions, even at his relatively young age.

In other words...you made all that up.
Not surprised. I caught the flu last year too. Was sick for a few days. So rested up , drank water and some vitamins. After the 4th day all was good.
Unfortunately now it's call kovid and it's a death sentence in most peoples mind if you catch it.

G i had covid once and maybe twice too. Also dont think big deal but some ppl do have bad reactions. Dont think it good to speak into existence about Oskie or anyone tho
You right Oskie is ripe for the picking tho. All coked up is def bad for the heart and he aint long for life with all the binging he does
