Does Manny rank in the Top 10/15 p4p of all time on your opinion?

Fanboys like you count for nothing, not one CREDIBLE boxing expert rates Manny that high. Name some boxing experts you deem credible.

I don't really care about 00s - 40s boxers(because lack of actual footage) so It's easy to rank Pacquiao in Top 10 for me, he's same level as Duran.

Top 5. People don't give boxers enough credit for fighting over their natural weight classes. That muscle you gain lifting weights is only good for lifting weights. They're essentially fighting bigger dudes with extra useless muscles weighing the down! The welterweight was stacked back then too. Little dude whooping on bigger beasts. That's more than pound per pound. That's pound per ton!

In my opinion, he should be in the top 10. Pacquiao is the only eight-division world champion in the history of boxing and has won twelve major world titles. He was the first boxer to win the lineal championship in five different weight classes, the first boxer to win major world titles in four of the eight "glamour divisions": flyweight, featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight, and is the only boxer to hold world championships across four decades (1990s, 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s).

Yes, anywhere in top 5 is reasonable. Don't concentrate too much on unfamiliar names from 70 to 90 years ago who you couldn't say are relevant today.. We need to be relevant to kids today who kids can identify with. kids who want someday to be superstars of tomoro might not think they can achieve what Pac did, fighting as many greats as he did. And if they find out Pac isn't top 5 having done so much it will be dis heartening and kids will question is it worth it. So don't be frugal and stingy with praise of pac, let your hair down, cheer up and don't be so cautious and untrusting, with ill will and resentment. There's nothing to be gained by downplaying pac, it benefits nobody.

I'm biased towards certain fighters. Exactly this. Pac makes my lifetime ATG list but its what you're into. For me, he's done it in and out of the ring. What's not to like?

Vs his two most accomplished opponents (JMM and Floyd), Pac has a landslide decision loss, an out cold knockout loss, two split decision wins and a draw. You can't be the goat being 2-2-1 vs your most accomplished opponents. Not to mention his other losses. 2 of his most accomplished opponents? I know jmm was his kryptonite but not sure jmm qualifies as most accomplished opponent. History feels Pac beat Bradley 3 times, that's huge, gigantic mammoth sized results. 2 wins over barrera and morales. So 4 great opponents that's 9 wins in 12 fights, by far more wins than what jmm, bradley, jmm morales got against each other combined. So Pac s clearly putting reputation on the line no comparison to his peers, Pac stands alone

Because how do you look at a kid in the eye who wants to one day be greateat boxer and tell the kid if you achieve what Pac has and you still don't make top 10, the kid might think is it worthwhile the effort?

Floyds been retired for 6 years but people talk about him daily on here. And if Pacquaio is remembered as a legend then they will have to talk about the time he lost to Floyd. Then they will have to spin how he could have won if his shoulder was better or mawyeather wasnt so good. let's see who will be remembered when you sons and daughters are all grown up. People will talk about Pac's exploit. His 8 division / 5 division lineal will be remembered all over the world. As for his losses including that of Floyd, it will just be a curious footnote. His battles with JMM, Morales, Barrera will replayed over and over again.

Top 3 at least, arguably GOAT. What he did from being Lineal Flyweight Champion to Welterweight Champion has never been done and likely will never be. Oldest Welterweight Champion in history. Only fighter to be champion in 4 different decades. Only Lineal Champion in 5 different weight classes. These are his actual accomplishments, accomplishments only he has achieved in history. And no amount of criticism will change these facts.

There will always be that one guy that would have your number like Ali to Frazier. Battles with JMM actually elevated Pac's career even more. As for Floyd, it was arguably a close fight and Pac was not in his peak / in his division at that time. Again, Pac will be regarded highly in the end. He will be more remembered as the greatest of his generation. Floyd will become a curious footnote. OK, but that doesn't make him the goat.........
