I seriously cannot fathom why people are still trying to convince themselves that somehow Spence's eye injury was fake and that it's all some kind of master plan design to derail Pac. Yes, we're all angry and frustrated that this potential classic bout was put on hold at the last minute and the hype was too great for it to not happen but the backlash towards Spence is really uncalled for. People are now taking pleasure on sh#tting on Spence because of the fact that he was the one to pull out and it gives them reason to do so. The fact that people are more focused on this idea of his eye injury being fake because he was "scared" instead of wishing him a speedy recovery shows how toxic the people in the boxing community really is.
Just be thankful that Spence was able to get the treatment that he needed before the fight. I can't imagine him getting in the ring against a dangerous veteran like Pac with an eye injury left unchecked and then leaving the ring with the possibility of having his career over because of it.
I'm sure we'll be seeing Spence ASAP once he fully recovers, and maybe hopefully we'll finally see him against Pac or Crawford with no delays.
When there is no spokesman, it leaves a big void and people are going to fill in the space.
Oscar, Arum, Hearn, Schaefer, Dana White, the guy from Bellator, Sauerland, Don King any number of these guys would be in front of a camera explaining the situation to people not letting this get out of control and fall back on to the fighter.
This is boxing now. Everyone insisted Manny faked a shoulder injury, even after getting surgery from a world class doctor. They insisted Fury faked COVID too. Can you blame some fans for being skeptical or at least dishing out the same doubts all the haters were spewing on other fighters? Spence pissed me off pulling out, more-so because I think this injury may be something related to his car crash that went undetected, a crash he could have avoided. As a fighter I like Spence, and I hope he makes a full recovery.
I still remember people saying Pacquiao's surgery was fake even thou its the same doctor who has done work on athletes like Kobe Bryant in the past.
I remember not too long ago that boxers had to post pictures of their injuries to put a stop to all the online drama, maybe we should bring that back if big names like Bernard Hopkins are questioning injuries haphazardly.

Spence got more important things like fighting crime than fighting Pacquiao. Spence trying to be the new Spider-Man
Seriously. People need to let it go already, it’s done. And just hope that Spence’s preventative measure surgery pays off (i.e away from retina detachment).
Why compare.. Get the context.
If you are legit. Then there's nothing to hide. Show proof and get absolved.
That's all he's saying..
Is it too hard to get the medical records out in public?
It's only hard when you are hiding something.. See the logic there?
It's not rocket science bud.
The more Spence doesn't provides proof the more this becomes sensationalized. Stop the bleeding by showing it.
Question is.. Why can't he..
Hopkins is the king of shady stuff and bulls*******g. I don't need to hear that hypocrite speak on anything.
Did Hopkins show an x-ray of his shoulder after he took a dive vs Chad Dawson?

Bernard Hopkins Suspicious & Skeptical Of Errol Spence's Eye Injury

yea man wtf is wrong with Hopkins talking like this for.

Poor Spence.
Guy just can't seem to catch a brake.
People wanted this fight but his health is important IMO. I still think Pac would of had his number but at this point i don't see them ever fighting unless its immediate like Feb-Mar 22.
I mean it makes so little sense. Everyone involved loses money and Spence comes out if this looking less than he has over his career. Of all the possible diagnoses to cancel a fight, why would he literally choose the worst one. Doesn't make sense. But people will go through lengths to tarnish fighters they don't like. I mean Spence is hard not to like, he didn't talk too much, he fights just about everyone and he's a fun fighter to watch, yet somehow he's now being painted as a coward. Lol boxing "fans" I tell ya.
