This judge has the same mentality as casual boxing fans. Just because the fighter is pressing the action, it means that the fighter deserve to win even if it's ineffective aggression? LOOOL.....

Don't justify blatantly bad scorecards. Fox didn't need to fight with urgency, he was in complete control and dominating the fight on top of scoring a knockdown. This kind of thinking from the fans will encourage judges, alphabet organizations, and anyone else making money off of these type of situations continue to think that it's ok to screw fighters. You're basically implying that Fox only deserves to win if he had knocked Maestre out. Maestre isn't some big A-side fighter. To be honest, I had never even heard of him before this card was announced. For some amazing all-time great amateur superstar, Maestre looked like the second coming of Ricardo Mayorga minus the personality and chin. I never said that Fox did not deserve to win. He did. I just wrote that I have seen worse robberies, and that might have to do with Maestre mostly pressing the action (though largely ineffectively) and Fox fighting without urgency, which could have given him more points on the other two judges' scorecards. But I do agree with the general opinion that the wrong man won, that's for sure.

I won't comment on her political leanings but the fact that she posted those type of derogatory comments on social media shows a "lack of judgement" which is both ironic and sad. The WBA is a complete and utter farce.

There needs to start being serious repercussions for awful scorecards. Put these fuckers on the spot, either in the ring after the fight or at the post fight presser

She’s clearly a stupid bitch. Her politics aside, she should be put on the same pole as Nelson Vazquez and shot and burned fro that scorecard. Maybe she and Vazquez can have a baby together to create the absolute worst judge in the history of mankind.

She should stick with club-level shows at convention centres in Florida and Arkansas if she is allowed to continue judging... Even though this wasn't at the same level of importance, she should get the CJ Ross or Adalaide Byrd treatment... Ban women judges maybe?? Yeah of course that wouldn't fly in today's world but it's a thought. Who's the best high-level female judge? Patricia Morse Jarman? Can't think of any controversies off the top of my head but if I'm wrong would love to be corrected. Julie Lederman is usually pretty good but the Loma-Lopez card was pretty wide.
