Crawford and his team knew all along they had no intentions of fighting Spence. I waited and waited to see if any media personnel would touch on this. No one from boxingscene or the boxing media posted it. If this were coming from the other side it would have spread like a wildfire in the summer. PBC not afraid to match their guys against tough opponents like other promoters. It is no surprise that they are leading boxing and are on fire rite now.
Castano Charlo
Pacquiao Spence
Casimer Rigo
Fury Wilder
Been telling you the same thing. Forget about the fight and move on.
Fight is not going to happen. It's possible it will happen as an exhibition fight
years down the line similar to what Floyd and Dela Hoya are doing now.
That was later, at first he implied Spence is moving up because he's afraid.
My bad. I watched it again and it does seem like he thinks Spence is scared. Wouldn’t make sense for Spence to move up in my opinion
I’ll admit you was rite when it’s all said and done and Canelo chooses his opponent. I believe negotiations are still ongoing behind the scenes.
How many PBC title holders have made voluntary defences against other promoters?
Most likely the same number as other promoters. Do you think Dana White allows UFC fighters to fight on Bellator while under contract? Here’s a list off the top of my head. I could be wrong about a few
Deontay Wilder
Andy Ruiz
Floyd Mayweather
Errol Spence
Shawn Porter
Badou Jack
Adonis Stevenson
Gervonta Davis
Adrien Broner
Mickey Bey
Daniel Jacobs
Don’t forget Russell v Loma for the title. But I think the title was vacant.
To be fair, Arum has this impression that Spence is somehow afraid of Crawford.
A guy who was willing to fight Danny Swift, Shawn Porter and Manny Pacquiao is somehow afraid of a guy who got two-pieced, wobbled and dropped by a guy nobody could pronounce his name correctly.
Ok.
In the video he says it can’t happen because Spence is moving to 154. I’m not sure it’s a guarantee Spence moves up.
Apart from Wilder how many PBC title holders have made voluntary defences against other promoter fighters? Haymon is the one that prevents big fights.
I was right about Plant too wasn't i threadstarter......... you ran away from that. :lol1:

You weren’t right about Plant. It’s been reported that Plant agreed to terms weeks before Canelo talks fell apart. Now if you want to say PBC turned the deal down then fine but you can’t put this on Plant. The decision wasn’t his to make.

Which title holders has haymon refused to make a “voluntary” ( your word) defense against another promoter’s boxer?

I think every NSB poster knew this except Shane. Lol.
That's why rumors have it that Crawford is leaving his ass by crossing the street to fight on the PBC.
crawford should have never renewed with arum. I think it was around 2018 or so when he last renewed. huge mistake
ive been expecting arum to die or retire for like 10 fukiing years now and here he is in 2021 turns 90 in December and still talking to the press saying stupid chit, still denying us the fights we want to see and still the top head of top rank. its crazy
