I truly dislike the politics in boxing a million champions so all the promoters can claim one and the sanctioning bodies can make their fees. Each division should have one belt per body mandatories matter so everyone deserving gets a shot. its that simple. If things don't change boxing will die not because of the sport itself because of the infrastructure around it. I also like that as a big picture idea. Obviously it's more complex than that, but determining a split with 20% being left on the table in any fight is not a half bad idea

Does he explain why they ducked Porter? Didn't Porter say they didn't offer enough for the fight? Anyway, this is probably the last and best chance to make the Spence fight if he Spence beats Manny. With Crawford's high minimum guarantee and the fact Spence will want most of the split, I still don't think it will happen unless the percent that Crawford gets is well more than his normal purse. I think that's the real sticking point in all of this, it might not be enough money in it to appease all. It's not Mayweather-Pacquiao in terms of start power and anticipation like they tend to think.
