Canelo v GGG III in negotiations

I favour Canelo, but GGG could end up being his Marquez. Motivation is a weird factor.

GGG should have fought at 168 to test the waters already I made a thread about this, GGG should have fought his last fight at 168 so theres no its his first fight going up excuses. He has a world title at 160 so naturally he would fight & defend there where Szeremeta was a mandatory.

It's not about color imo, a lot of Mexicans can't stand good looking guy kicking ass. One of the reasons Oscar was hated so much, I mean Chavez is loved and he's white af too. Fcking obviously dude. Julio Cesar Chavez doesn’t have 115 fights vs 115 top 10 P4P fighters. Roberto Duran did not fight 119 champions. Alexis Arguello’s 77-8 record was not versus 85 top 10 ranked fighters of the respective weight classes he fought them in. So yeah. Canelo has a bunch of “who the fck is that guy”. More than he has good names. But so does, like, every single boxer in the last 100+ years. Lomachenko, in my lifetime, and as long as i’ve watched boxing, is the only fighter who actually has more wins over notable opponents than he does over “who the fck is that” type of fighters. It’s that rare. So mentioning that Canelo has a bunch of nobodies on his resume is a weak excuse to sh.t on it. JCC’s resume is like 90% tomato cans. You can’t fight 100 times vs just killers. Has NOTHING to do with hating cause of how he looks. My uncle, Dad's brother, is Tony the Tiger Lopez, former ibf super featherweight champ. On my mom's side, her cousin is Loretto Garza, former wba super lightweight champ. They KNOW boxing and their criticism of Saul is justified more so than most.
