For your random WTF boxing news of the day lol.
Well, at least the first part of a fight between two washed fighters.
Jose can provide some fun fights at WW but he hasn't fought in almost three years since losing to Crawford. Your boy is soon to be back though RJJ-94-02=GOAT !
You think Ennis can beat them this year? Ideally I’d like to see him take another 3 or 4 fights before challenging the top 2. Undoubtedly a precautious talent but I’d like to see him get a little more seasoning before facing those guys, same with Vergil Ortiz too.
I wouldn't feel as confident with this call as I was with the other one but I think he competes with both of them. Ideally you would love to see him in against fighters like Ugas, Porter, Thurman etc before getting in with Spence or Crawford. I need to see how his chin holds up. If it does? Then there is NO reason to hold him back at all. Let him in with the top dogs and see what he can do. Now, will Spence or Crawford fight him? Doubtful, and the only reason Lomachenko fought Lopez was because he had a title. Remember Lomachenko telling him to go get a belt and then he will fight him? Well, what does Ennis bring to the table for those two?
Either way, if Spence beats Pacquiao, then the Crawford fight HAS to happen. If it doesn't happen then one of these youngsters will take the throne and they will lose out on that big fight.
Yeah, not saying Benavidez wouldn't be a good opponent for those two, because he will. I just think Ennis is ready NOW for the top guns so I'm hoping he gets someone like James or Ugas next. I'm calling my shot here like I did with Teofimo, let Ennis get in with either Spence/Crawford by the end of the year or early next year and.....................lol.
I forgot about Broner but he's pretty much in that washed category as well lol. He at least doesn't get stopped or hasn't been recently stopped like the other names you mentioned :).

So many guys hanging around at 147 looking for a pay day. Khan, Broner, Berto, Ortiz, Guerrero, Brook, Alexander etc. They could literally put together a WBSS of shot fighters at 147. :lol1:
I assume PBC are only bringing in Benavidez to match against fighters on the rise like Ennis and Stanionis. He’d be a good opponent for either IMO.

Can both the loser and winner leave town???? Lol, those guys have no business continuing their career. I believe Devon Alexander is also returning and this dude just got stopped by Ivan f'n Redkach two years ago. Like how the hell does that even happen??? All these guys need to retire for good.
Benavidez is only 29 years old so despite being off for three years, he should still be fine depending on how serious he takes his comeback. More than the comeback is him getting shot in the leg and probably never truly recovering from that.
I wouldn't mind seeing Ennis or Stanionis against Benavidez later this year....though I'd prefer a better opponent for Ennis who doesn't need any opponents that aren't top 10 in the division.

Been wondering about Jose Benavidez - saw some videos of him training from this year or late last year, interested to see him mix it up with some other WW contenders and see how the TC fight holds up. Jose Benavidez v Danny Garcia I've been wanting to see
Good news that he’s back. Decent fighter IMO, not sure how much he has left but he’s certainly young enough to have a sustained comeback.
Ortiz vs Guerrero is literally the definition of a “loser leaves town” matchup. I probably favour Guerrero but neither have much left in the tank.

If you need an example for a shot fighter its robert Guerrero. The way his punch resistance completely went away in his fight vs figueroa was absolutely silly.
But there is still a chance that ortiz would somehow lose lol.
Both are shot to sh** man, I actually think Ortiz is the more shot fighter. :lol1:

There's better than a "chance" that happens lol.

Great fight if it was 2012 or 13. Seriously terrible fight honestly. Guerrero retired then came back to get ktfo in 3 by omar and ortiz is just a straight quitter.
Haymon just relying on the latino market just giving latino fighters brain damage
I am a fan of PBC but man, this Mexploitation is getting crazy
