Munguia took Szeremeta out in 6 rounds. It took Golovkin 7 rounds.

Golovkin also probably wanted to get some rounds in to clear out some rustiness. Was times during the fight he could've gone for the kill but chose not to

Don't matter, Golovkin was the first to beat him and Szeremeta was top-10 ranked at the time, I think 7th ranked contender. Better win for GGG than Jaime.

I did see some head movement and even attempts to use angles from Munguia. He can still improve. He definitely can, but we'll find out the extent of his improvements once he faces an Andrade or GGG because he won't be able to rely so heavily on his punch resistance against them. He'll get his head jabbed off against both because he's still too flat-footed.

Every fight except the main event was good. The opposite is usually true. Yeah, it was an entertaining undercard.

Szere made Munguia's job very easy tonight. Munguia never had to cut off the ring because Szere agreed to have a tit-for-tat fight. A feather-fisted boxer acquiescing to a slugfest is stupid. It doesn’t matter what round it happened in. Golovkin’s power is clearly on a different level than Munguia’s. Is it? Both beat up on this guy who really isn't very good.
