boxing is a mess constant mismatches, constant showcase fights and the ratings reflect how fans dont wanna see that. and the less loyal fanbase you have , the more drug cheating is allowed to happen because there are no fans to care like in ufc where there is scrutiny from fans. only 1 thing can stop it, a strong brand like ufc coming into the boxing game, and having 5050 matchups and a couple stars to promote the brand it will only happen when we get rid of the belts. Once you get rid of the 7-10 belts per division, you get rid of the promoters because it would be no use for them. The job of the promoter is to pay sanctioning organizations to rank their fighters
