I disagree. I would definitely pick Porter over “Mean Machine”. I believe I would pick Ugas over “Mean Machine”. I believe Thurman is shot so I would call that fight a draw.

The Crawford hate is definitely over the top but we don't need to do this. Mean Machine is likely fighting Ortiz Jr so let's see how that fight goes. But we have seen Mean Machine in action plenty of times, and he's not a top WW. Looked great disposing of Aveneysan but that's really the only time he's looked top level. Got a draw vs Robinson who is solid but just that.

I thought he got robbed against Kelly as well. Robinson is one of those guys that will test any prospect and show their flaws. Same here… that fight really exposed Kelly. The fact they never made the rematch spoke volumes.

In all honesty, Ray was robbed against Kavaliauskas too. I thought he got robbed against Kelly as well. Robinson is one of those guys that will test any prospect and show their flaws.

I guess. :dunno: We saw Kavaliauskas' ceiling and that wasn't the first time. If somebody plants their feet Kava has the power to get them out of there like he did with Avanesyan but the guys you mentioned won't do that. He might have gotten a knockdown against Bud but that was because Crawford wanted to channel The Marvelous One that night. Kava is a fun fighter but maybe he's just more of a tough guy than a boxer. That's the difference I see compared to you. I see a strong fighter that can get into great positions using his lead control plus getting in and off the line. Hes definitely not just a straight up and down fighter. He has technique and knows body mechanics to get into positions to hurt people.
