Let's face it, he has been the Hispanic J Love. I'm 50 years in this sport, and this has really convinced me now that there are great strieds to be made fighting someone better than you. I'm telling you....for all your fighters like Boo, just f*ck the 0, the hardcore is your base anyway, and go take that ass-whoopin (or give it) but either way you will be better off.
Arias, went o war unlike anyone I've seen since Granados v Imam.
For those that missed it, here is my recap:
1. First round bell rings...Ding!
2. Arias proceeds to go in Hurd's ass.
3. 10th round bell I rings. Ding!
4. Arias steps out of Hurds ass since #1.
Hurd is my nigga too. I been knowing him almost as long as Arias, he didn't have the pedigree, but I was calling him the 54 Foreman, after like his 10th fight...and let me tell you one thing...
HURD NEEDS THAT RUN BACK
Trust me I give ARIAS ALL the credit in the world. But I bet EVERYTHING that if Hurd goes to war bell to bell, I dunno many who can beat him. Maybe Canelo...but that's it. Trust me, Hurd is a MONSTER when he gets on his front foot. He was rocked for the first time I EVER saw in this fight, so this will be real interesting to see how he comes out. Hopefully he says, "Okay, I got my ass whipped by a nigga i know I can wreck" and gets to getting.
But KUDOS to Arias....it's great to see this cats who devote their life to the sport, finally get they shine.
What a shtty day for Hurd ey. First he gets exposed as a black guy with the tiniest pecker in Boxing and then proceeds to get that ass whooped by a nobody
Micro Peenis is done
Man, and here are some clips I did of him on the come up. Yeah, I get plenty of fighters look like killers on the come up...but how many of them Unify?

That's interesting. I've seen those videos before. Good work. I've liked Hurd back from those Rosecroft Raceway days. He had a helluva run from Galarza to Lara, but I didn't like how he looked against Wellborn and was gutted when I went to see him fight J-Rock.
I've seen him box very effectively (against lesser competition) and I've seen him use the pressure style against elite level opposition. I hope he can get back to fighting in a way that he feels comfortable and effective.
As for Arias, I think people sleep on him. He's no soft touch, Jacobs was supposed to spark him out and he didn't. Rosado and him fought a very close fight and Im not sure what happened in the Keeler fight. I posted here that if Hurd wasn't in the right place, it would be a very tough fight and one that he could lose.

And on the concept of weight....let's not say that he "had" to go up to 60....or let's say he "had" to go up, just like 99% of every other 154 fighter. 54 was his debut class, so he is only supposed to move up. Honestly, I think he will be scary mean at 68...but again it's if he wants to be (which I am questioning for the first time). He's a good kid though. But a giant in that ring. I been WAITING to see what he looked like filled out and with energy. I would fix the slow starts, better hand defense/slipping/head movement for dog-walking - limit the shots (as chins get stonger, punches do to)....this is a fact of professional boxing.
Sure. Just as Errol does at 47, just like Brook before him,. just like Hagler, just like Fury, just like Foreman, just like......even Ali.
Chock it up to me "writing a lot, mate, lol" but I am in reality: I'm spitting facts. Accept or not, that's on you.
So I don't understand how This does not mean a fighter is flawed though....it means he is able to make a weight just like others, and his natural frame makes him fit for dog-walking MFers.
Trust me. If Jarret gets his head right, they will wish he never came up to 60, because let's not dismiss what Hurd has accomplished. Arias fought the fight of his life....and went in Hurd's ass. I just feel Hurd let him, and I base this on both fighterhistory (as I been watching Arias a long time too). Remember, Arias is MUCH the more experienced fighter.....Hurd is not technically sound, but definitely has learned and shown extreme growth in each fight I've seen. That's what's scary....he is still a bit raw....I just hope his mind hasn't checked out (I've seen it a happen to a LOT of fighters post-unification) so it could be. With that....
Hurd wasn't expecting this, and I am concerned his team had nothing for him on his back foot....but this part of the growing teams go through (and I'm sure you know the tragedy surrounding his team)...so they have always been a small-nit group, and I have no doubt the corner played a role in this. (I don't agree with putting Hurd on his toes). **** that. Let him dig his heels in an Frankstein his opponents. He can do that. Trust me. As good of a chin as there is in 60 (which worries me if anything, work on hand defense). because EVERYONE gets caught.
But yeah, just writing a lot to say how I don't find the fact a fighter comes in to the ring bigger and stronger is a negative attribute. Seems to me any fighter would want that.
I'll address your other points when I have time to read them. Many thanks
Using size effectively isnt a negative point. But if it's a big part of your game you get less effective the higher you move up in weight.
Moving up in weight => your power and size is comparatively less than at the previous weight, your opponents power and durability are on average higher.
=> you cant allow to make as many mistakes or just tank as many punches.
Effective weight jumper usually dont implement size as much in their fighting style.
pacquiao had great footspeed and power to just dart in and out. Mayweather great defense and technical abilities. Donaire a big left hook equalizer and explosiveness, etc.
You write a lot mate lol.
Hurds uses his size in the most effective way and grinds down his opponent. Basically the same what rios did at lightweight and munguia did at 154.

lol...not really i guess if we compare what you have written on this forum as compared with I. lol. I'm just speaking on something I know. I'll address your points when I have a moment, thanks for the dialogue.
And regarding Arias. that nigga fought the fight of his life against Hurd. Can he do that twice in a row. I dunno. For those that never seen him (he kind of Keith Thurman style) but cannot remember anyone he mauled---let alone the mauler. Damn Jarret. Ha ha.
But Arias DID THAT. He is a steady threat with ANYONE at 60 if he can sell out like that each fight. I hate to say it but Hurd team got slippin there I don't think they had a game plan for Jarret on his backfoot.
Either way, for we boxing fans, the plot thickens. Love it!
Can you please explain his style (as you see it)? And more importantly why you feel it's not a fit? You see, I feel he is MORE of a fit, once his body fills in to a 60 fighter, which I agree can take up to 12 months (with two fights during that time).
You see, 54 are really welterweights who cannot make weight. They tend to freakout on the speed loss (who can bame them) and so they don't see themselves as "lazy" they focus on doing they same ol ****. And listen, 54 is my ALL TIME favorite class...but it is what it is.
60 is where MFers begin to really walk a MFer down...Hagler style (the ULTIMATE Middleweight, BTW). Hurd is a poor man's Hagler, when he wants to be. My only concern with him is now that the chins are gettng hella stronger, can he go to war? The answer...is YES. Why? I've seen it. pssst. Ask me when.
But more importantly, elebaorate on what makes you think his "syle is not fit for 60" that's just so generic my man. It's obvious you are someeone who woofs about having boxing knowledge but obviously doesn't/,
I promise, I'm not tryning to hate, just being candid with you. I dunno how to do all that PMing and stuff, and well....since you replied publicly, **** it. "I'll be your Huckleberry". Ha ha
But I'll warn ya now...before you run to your little BoxRec and try some weirdo stats, like I SAID, I been watching dude years before you ever heard (no pun indented) of him, and I thus I'm here to REPRESENT for the real Monsters I know, Once again, IF Hurd goes to war, he is virtually unbeatable. I just want to see that, again. I would be my house on the Arias rematch though. And if I'm wrong, **** it. Then I've finally seen lighting caught in a bottle twice, and Arias is the greatest fighter not in the BHOF. Because it's not like he was fighting his normal style. It was obvious that ***** just went for broke...out the gate. All respect to hijm. He did that. Next time if Jarret decides to do that....Arias going to sleep early. But trust me my post above it to commend Arias. Like a MFer. I'm not some Hurd dick-rider. Aria went in his ASS. Because Hurd let him--pause. (sorry Jarret)
You write a lot mate lol.
Hurds uses his size in the most effective way and grinds down his opponent. Basically the same what rios did at lightweight and munguia did at 154.
They are able to squeeze down to a lower weight and outsize their opponents, grind them down, swarm them and hope their opponents reach the breaking point at some point.
Hurd regularly loses a lot of rounds until his opponents cant keep up anymore. He wont be as effective doing that when his size isnt overwhelming and he will face bigger punchers so the chances of him being effective with his no defense defense decreases when he moves up.
Hurd definitely has good wins, but he benefited from certain attributes that his opponents had.
Trout had no power to keep him off, lara reached old legs age, harrison always fades in the second half and becomes fragile.
we've seen what happens when fighters are able to hang with his pressure.
And let's get this straight...even against Harrison Hurd was the opponent. Trust me, Al knows Harrison (who is a G as most now know...and can scrap his ass off) and put him in there to beat Hurd.
But I DO want Hurd to give him that runback. Hopefully these cats with 1+ L's kep busy and get crackin, this is the ONLY way this shit can come back.
Certainly not by dogging a fighter because he's lost a few fights. I'll put Hurds resume up against ANYONE's.
You probably didn't know....but Arias is no punk. He been accused of it though, and took it out on Hurd. He gonna have to work his way back to that runback...as I KNOW DAMN WELL MP aint gonna put Arias no where near Hurd. They gonna cash out then Hurd will need to put up some money.
his style wont be effective at 160 at all.

You see, this is what I love. So let's discuss this. How many fights of Hurd's have you seen? Of those, how many fights of his opponents have you seen?
Basically, t'm gonna say it like this. Your comment leads me to believe you know nothing whatsoever about boxing, and instead are a 'hater" who is caught up in t
his "weight bully" myth, but will you engage me by educating me on exactly, what you mean.
So,, before I even go further please et me know my first two questions, and if you want to elaborate on what I feel is something you are merely repeating (once again, because it's obvious you are simply a hater) then elaborate. But I'm here to have this conversation. I;m just saying I know a "rah-rah" cat when I see one...so please, don't run. I can be as respectful or grimy as you wanna get.
Let's do this. Me and you....
Once again, to be clear: I say you are 100% ignorant on the post you just wrote above. But...prove me wrong. Please. Teach me a lesson for coming back at you like this.
