Matchroom are changing the game

I know positivity is frowned upon when it's anything to do with boxing but I've gotta say that Saturday night was the greatest boxing 'event' I've ever been to. And I say event because it was an event, it wasn't just a fight - it felt huge, it looked a million dollars & the atmosphere was awesome. The next time somebody says boxing is dead, just show them any of the photos from AT&T Stadium - it's what boxing can be & should be. It's this kind of ambition (in terms of the size of the event, the production, the entrances) that crosses over to the mainstream & it's working. I've seen people who aren't boxing fans talking about the fight on Saturday & honestly that's just great because it's still the best sport in the world when it's done right. I feel like the audience is still huge, they just want boxing to be better. I like what Matchroom are doing, I like what Eddie Hearn is doing & I like what DAZN are doing. Think they're all proving a lot of the doubters wrong - they're good for the sport & they're getting better at what they do in America. Keep the big fight nights coming. :boxing:
