Wilder will be fed nothing but pbc divers and patsies until the big sacrifice. ruiz will not be matched with wilder. ruiz is in line for another big payday vs Joshua or Fury.
More money has been poured into the Wilder than Ruiz. No one cares about Ruiz AJ 3 after the Arreola fight. Wilder still has the air of catching you with one big shot especially if they feed him a couple of KOs on PBC
these guys are out of this world rich. they don't need to fight. not sure if you've been asleep for a year and a half, but we've been in a pandemic and you can hardly make money at the gate. wilder probably has 3-5 fights left total in his career. why put one on during the pandemic and leave a few million in gate revenue and a site fee on the table?
If Wilder has a fight coming up it will be announced in the week of the Joshua v Fury fight to maximise attention.
So a 36 year old never been will be fighting in October wonderful.

Wilder won't be doing anything because networks don't want to pay and when fox and espn pull the plug on boxing, American boxing goes the way of the dodo and it will be a fitting death.
Fury has not fought, for exactly the same amount of time that Wilder has not fought. And he is refusing to sign for unification right now. But again, you guys will give him another pass...

Ik Fury was big set back but he was bringing entertainment to the sport in US it’s kind of hurting the sport with him not fighting.
A 3rd fight was scheduled but shlt happened.
EDIT
A ton of guys have been inactive but let's concentrate on Wilder
Wilder is stuck in a bad place. He generates no money on his own, so any set up pbc fight with a patsy will lose money. wilder can't fight Whyte for a nice payday because wilder and haymon both know wilder is a total fraud and has no chance to beat Whyte. Losing to Whyte officially ends wilder's career. Now he still has one decent payday left vs Fury or AJ. But to get to AJ or Fury, wilder has to be protected from losing. they will probably fake retire wilder until the time comes to sacrifice him to AJ of Fury for the last payday. because putting the big fraud wilder in with another pbc patsy breazeale, kownacki, ortiz, stiverne, arreola is a big waste of time and will lose money.
Ruiz gets him a #1 ranking and shot. Canelo's trainer is basically Virgil Hunter 2.0. Ruiz was eating rights from Arreola. Wilder as bad as he is, is able to keep distance and will fold Ruiz. I'd give him Kownacki instead of Martin who is a southpaw and could catch him with something
Exactly. The guy is broken beyond repair. This is what happens to PBC guys who have spent their entire career fighting bums and still having everyone in their PBC bubble tell them how great they are. They eventually run into reality and in Wilder's case he just can't handle it. I am sure no one was expecting him to have the will and courage of Evander Holyfield, but he could of at least measured up to standard of Oliver McCall.
We have that with Frank Warren fighters in the UK. Fight a load of bums then go for the title and usually lose. I guess it works for them in a way because they get well known
He melted down when he lost and probably realized that there are levels to this game and felt that he could not do anything. Mentally he has shown that he can't keep it together but he is waiting for a third fight with Fury so who knows wha is going to happen. He has no where to go and a fury fight is the only fight that will pay him well. If he fights again he will be more tentative and I don't know where his mental strength is. Boxing is 90 percent mental so if he can't keep it together he will have problems.
His fragile ego was shattered after that beat down. The test of a true champion is one who can bounce back from a loss, especially a KO loss, and be as good or better upon his return.
He's toast. The type of guy that is on top of the world while he is on top of the world but he may not have climbed up on top of the world via his own merit. Once you fall from the top, the system that propped you up in the beginning won't be there this time and he knows it.
Because he got beat bad and his ego can't take that kind of shock. Fury was fat, bloated and retired when Wilder picked him as a big name, easy fight
I'd say best case scenario is he realized his limitations and is learning how to fight on the back foot. Because that's how everyone will be fighting him from now on. He'll probably come back against a nobody and then hopefully take on someone top-10 before going for a belt. Or he might get gifted a title challenge...

Ik Fury was big set back but he was bringing entertainment to the sport in US it’s kind of hurting the sport with him not fighting. He is currently in arbitration. He is suing Tyson Fury for breach of contract for reneging on their third trilogy bout. I know it's the elephant in the room that nobody wants to admit or talk about but it's the main reason why the Joshua/Fury bout is being indefinitely delayed, stalled and postponed. There I said it.
