Too bad we can't have every fight in one package and one bill.
Some people are fortunate enough to have everything.
But some of us only have one or few choices...
PPV doesn't always equate to quality fights doe.
I think this is where some Americans have been brainwashed. They immediately thinks PPV = Better quality. That’s how dumb they are. Who isn’t on PPV these days! I mean regular fights are now on PPV.
Depends on who’s fighting. I’ve never gone with DAZN because they don’t have enough fighters that I support. If DAZN had PBC’s roster then I would fuck with them.
I didn't say it did. BUT it usually equates to better quality than subs. I mean look at ESPN. ESPN gots a sub deal. They got solid fights. BUT when it was time to do Loma vs Teo they made that a PPV despite most of their fights being seen via the sub.
Nah, Lomachenko vs Lopez was on regular ESPN.
But not sure what the point of this thread is. Of course damn near everyone would take the yearly subscription over a PPV.
I mean they are basically the same thing as you pay either way. You just can pick & choose better quality with PPV's, but you get more quantity with a subscription. So I suppose its about whats more important to the person, quality or quantity.
PPV doesn't always equate to quality fights doe.
Would I rather pay less and regularly or more in single hits? Obvious less.
The only question is whether that model can get the mega fights made. I suspect they will still need PPV. Subscription can certainly bring in more dollars, but the hunger for money will just increase.
Without a doubt subscription, I watch all boxing, I enjoy local level cards from Poland and Italy the same as I do big PPV cards so to me the value is in the quantity. Never pay for PPV's unless it's absolutely can't miss and I don't want to risk a shady stream on it
Subscription is ideal but it fails to deliver the truly big fights. Maybe a combo of both is the best solution. Triller is showing that there's still a market for PPVs.
Fury Vs Joshua, Canelo Vs Charlo, Ryan Garcia Vs Tank. Those fights are likely ending up on PPV. Not a subscription service.
DAZN or something similar is the future.
A monthly fee for all the fights, and PPV for super fights like Fury vs AJ, not s*** like Chisora vs Parker.
For sure. Eddie Hearn leaving Sky means DAZN should get a bunch more fights. I have a feeling its going to be the future of boxing. At the moment there are too many channels (many of which are inaccessible to much of the world) and PPVS for crappy events.
Always go yearly. Pay less upfront. Paid for a year of DAZN since it was an option and got a lower rate.
When Disney Plus came out I got basically a year free paying 3 years upfront.
