I keep seeing everyone say how Eubank ducked ggg & that's why he fought a ww at mw,but I have yet to see proof of such in any way. And to me it sounds like the usual excuses made by his fans to excuse hypocrisy (If I am wrong & you can prove it I take it back entirely, but I have seen ggg say Canelo v ww at 155 was disgrace to boxing only to fight Brook at 160 instead)
I am someone who thinks Eubanks had a deserved bad rap because he fights bums & because he thought he doesn't need a trainer but as I used to say he'd be a threat at 160/168 if he learned proper boxing/pacing from a trainer(hes at least a better boxer than Wilder for whom i think its too late to learn)(but hes now with Jones & that alone makes me wanna see his relentless engine fight Canelo or ggg or Charlo or Andrade now that he has a ecu & transmission to go with the engine)
He barely lost to BJS despite training himself & having a stupid swoll head, but I think he can give a good fight at least if not become lower tier champ.
And comparing GGG to Crawford is ridiculous. Crawford called out Spence when he was at 140. Was GGG calling out Ward when he was at 160? NO, him and his fans were always making excuses for why the fight should not happen. ONE is the action of an elite fighter, the other is the action of a coward. PERIOD.
ggg called out ward when ggg was at 160. ward said he wasnt ready lmao. the exact thing you wanted he did. wasnt good enough because ward was trying to fight dmitri sartison. look it up! oh but 5 years later he sent ggg an offer for a fight in a years time that would have forced him to postpone the canelo fight lmao blah blah. ggg has had bigger fights than crawford so you arent making sense at all.
It's because Kelly Brook exposed Glolovkin as a bum. This is the only reason Canelo fought him.
Kell got annihilated by Golovkin and that exposed Golovkin as a bum?? Yeah Kell did OK at the beginning after all he was an undefeated world champion. When Golovkin picked up the pace it was all over.

They were in negotiations but Eubank's dad got crazy with the demands. The fight fell through and Golovkin ended up fighting Brooke to keep the fight in England. I don't blame Eubank Jr. he wanted the fight but his dad who controls him may have accidentally on purpose thrown a wrench into the negotiations.
I do remember a few things that happened that year when it comes to Golovkin.
First, his promoter/manager at the time (Loeffler) offered something to BJS early that year...it was around 2 million for a unification fight. Didn't go through
In April, Golovkin makes his mandatory defense against Dominic Wade...who was a replacement opponent at the time. Next, he was gifted the WBC belt because he held out for the mandatory split with Canelo (55-45). Don't forget that soon after his win over Wade, the topic of fighting Brook was brought up...he said that Brook was too small and that he wanted to fight middleweights.
That's where the part comes in with Eubank Jr. He was offered the Golovkin fight, but as stated by Eddie Hearn, it was Eubank Sr. that messed up the deal. As a result, Golovkin fought Brook where both got paid handsomely instead of Golovkin trying to get the BJS fight for undisputed.
What's crazy is after the Brook fight, Golovkin and his team did not go after a fight with Saunders again.

It started with Eubank Jr. losing his pen (Twitter) according to G.
Eubank says he never got a contract.
Then Hearn exposed English (Chris Sr.) refusing to sign over a photo.
That article made it sound like Hearn didn't really want the deal, because what kind of joke promoter would just decide right then & there he wouldn't try to get the deal done so easily.(if you read between the lines it sounds very weak on Hearns part,& at the time he was trying to talk up Kell Brook to justify the fight as thats how you sell such a mismatch.)
You're just ignoring the power dynamics in boxing. You can't have a debate if you pretend that doesn't exist. Period. Bud works for a promoter, Spence works for a promoter, GGG works for a promoter.
GGG and Eubanks fought under a promoter who would work with both of them. That's how we know GGG ducked that fight. Again I ask you when has Bud ever ducked an opponent with a promoter who we know easily makes fights with Bob Arum? Doesn't happen. Bud is a victim of the politics of boxing, GGG is a cherrypicking hype job,
Its a fighters job to force his promoter to make him the biggest star possible,p4p fighters are supposed to find a way to make big fights,if they end up 33 & past prime without doing such its because they warent willing enough to sacrifice to get it made. Bud has been told as long as hes the b side he'll get Spence but hes refused.(& He can get Porter for 2 mil & blast him out & prove haters hes better than Spence, same with beating Ortiz,he has to be willing to sacrifice for greatness, not act like a ceo bean counter)
We now know Buds been negotiating with Pac & when that fell through if he doesn't fight Ortiz or Porter next would you be ok with that?
Who cares who he called out,he hasn't been interested in being the B side to the more popular fighter with more belts & names on his resume, ggg called out Ward then ducked him too. I don't care what fighters say as much as who they fight. Fact is Bud is 33 & hasn't fought an elite ww except C level Horn whom most thought robbed pac w hometown ref/judges.

Bud called out Spence when he was at 140. Who else in boxing is openly calling out a pound for pound fighter in a weight class above him?
The answer is nobody.
Now let's look at GGG, total opposite. Canelo told him to come down to 154, and he openly ducked that.

Bud is going to rank higher than Ggg Because of undisputed & multiple divisions, I'm not saying ggg & him are equals, I'm saying why I'm not a fan of either one.(I do give Bud credit, but I also give ggg credit for finally fighting Canelo/Deryev/& Jacobs,as long as Crawford fights more elite fighters I will rank him much higher than ggg

Wtf are you talking about, where did I mention anything you're on about? (I have ALWAYS said ggg is an elite fighter but a complete diva cherrypicker, how does that equate to Canelo not deserving credit for dethroning a Undefeated unified ggg whom the msm wanted to be their hero who kod ginger)
I consider Crawford a elite fighter too,but just like ggg hes h diva & a cherrypicker so I don't think he beats the absolute best(just like ggg I think hes excellent skillwise but others are better/more deserving of praise)
If he's an elite fighter, he wouldn't have ducked Eubanks. He's not, he always knew Eubanks would have been too much for him. GGG fought scared of Canelo and Danny Jacobs power all night, a Eubanks fight would have been the same except no reward since now money and no belt.
The Canelo fans always talk about how good Canelo's resume, but then you always make threads about how the people on Canelo's resume are garbage. You see the hypocrisy don't you?
Either GGG is this great win or he's a hype job but you can't have it both ways. And if he's a hype job like you all say he is and I say he is, then Canelo's resume is trash.
