Not network politics, the WBC were behind the fight and Garcia-Haney would have taken precedence over Linares-Haney. The winner of Garcia-Campbell was meant to face Haney. I just think it’s pretty illogical how it’s all panned out.

FTR, I don’t really rate Haney at all and would confidently pick Garcia by KO. But what I don’t understand is why fight Fortuna when you were already mandatory/interim champ. It makes no sense.
