eh? only time will tell but I personally hope he is not broke, say what you want or think about him and his promotions but it would be sad to see him go broke or golden boy promotions ends up being dissolved I personally have enjoyed some off their fights/cards they made over the years..

Only reason his company would be "in trouble" is due to how DAZN conspired against him and there may be a falling out there. GBP is continuing to look for another network for their fighters but the stable they have is pretty damn good. Maybe DLH fighting on Triller opens up a relationship for his stable and they move on to Triller in the near future. He only got that DAZN deal because of Canelo. He could have went to Showtime, but took a chance with DAZN.

He's not broke and he doesn't miss the spotlight. With Canelo leaving, his company has gone from major player to once again having to start all over. These comeback fight(s?) promote the brand and will help keep the lights on at Golden Boy for a while.

Is DAZN broke? They're the ones who refused to honor their original contract with GBP/Canelo. ​​​​​​It sounds like Oscar just missed being inside the ring. He's been engrossed in the sport since he was six years old. He just loves boxing.

I know people who do business with Oscar in LA. He’s 100% definitely not broke. He is personally still very wealthy. Golden Boy Promotions may not be doing as well. Not sure how him fighting on Triller changes that unless he has some other deal set up for some of his fighters.

in billionaire standard he is probably low of money but in millionaire standard he is still one of the average millionaire in america.

DAZN wouldn't approve opponents for Canelo last year, that managed to drive a wedge between him and Oscar. Now that they have Canelo working with Eddie Hearn they suddenly have no problem approving an opponent like Yildirim. Looks pretty underhanded and slimy to me. They had a contract with GBP, they were paying them a lot of money. With GBP promising them fights that they couldn’t deliver. If GBP thinks there was something underhand then they should sue like they did with Al and Richard S.

Far from it, a lot of Oscar worth is from real estate ventures, I know he owns a few buildings in Downtown L.A. Anyhow, I see him coming back b/c this will give exposure to some of his top talent i.e. Vergil Ortiz Jr. or Bek the Bully fighting on his undercard. Oscar ain’t stupid he knows the Mexican/American crowd will happily buy his PPV is he’s fighting a name opponent even a faded Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. might make enough of a buzz to sell this PPV. Also, Thriller seems to be getting into the Boxing business which could someday be the exclusive home of Golden Boy Promotions.

Doubt It! Likely misses the Spotlight and Attention more than anything but a the same time if Triller is throwing around Millions for Exhibitions then why not cash in on that it is ZERO shame in that Oscar is a Legend!
