So for the U.S. crew only, will you guys be purchasing this undisputed showdown in the afternoon on PPV? Simple yes or no question.
I can't recall the last afternoon PPV show stateside in boxing, but IIRC, the UFC has done this a few times.
I will most certainly be buying it, but interested in seeing what others think.
Massive fight, very excited for it. I'm English, but whenever I have to pay PPV for boxing I do. Watch all the good UK fights, and all the good American fights (around 4am time of main event fights in UK) How anyone wouldn't want to watch this is beyond me. Either an agenda against the HW division or overly nostalgic over past HW's.
I don't get why people say the HW division is poor when there are some really top fighters, and a ton of good ones, and prospects, yet go on like Inoue's division is great when it is in fact, garbage. The second best in his division is Donaire, who lost a shutout to Carl Frampton about 3-4 years ago, and is 8 years past his best.
Inoue is just going the Julio Cesar Chavez SR route digging up people from the graveyard to pad his record with. At least he hasn't fought about 50 debutants like JCC did, mind. That old hype job is barely any better than his overrated bum of a son.
The only recent PPV I didn't buy was Tyson vs Roy Jones JR (I did stream it) Tyson plodding forward in slow motion as Roy shuffled about like an old man in his slippers.
That fight was announced as the fight happening , you said it wouldn’t be .
You thought for any reason it would not be then you won . I stated it would be planned next fight with possibly stipulations of getting fights bf but the fight was next providing no losses .
See you aren’t that smart ,I knew what you were possibly doing .
In any event I won that bet the fight was signed which I betted on , you didn’t , you actually said Wilder will fight next .
Now go get an education ,you are out of your league here , I should actually make you change your name and avatar but you never agreed to th3 bet , instead you implied Wilder will get a third fight , that itself is a bet loss . :lol1:
I asked you twice to give a clear statement on whether you accepted the bet or not. You could never grow enough balls to do so hence there is no bet.
Beyond that, is it official that Fury vs Joshua is the next fight for both? Have they stepped into the ring yet and has the bell rung? If not then why are you already claiming victory? On a bet you never accepted and that is now off the table?
You really are a dumb guy. No wonder you are currently getting your teeth kicked in on multiple threads by multiple posters.
You didn’t accept the terms . You played no date no venue which I already said was going to be last .
Not sure why you persue talking to me on it ? You were the one telling the forum how Fury is obligated to fight again because he signed a rematch clause? You are uneducated in many things I only toy with grown adolescent posters like you , and you put yourself in the position .
You’re so uneducated you still say I ducked in a bet I’ve won ? :lol1:
I'm the one that proposed the bet and the terms. If Fury vs Joshua was the next fight for both you would win...if not I would win. Simple.
You're the one that pvssed out and wouldn't accept. Too scared, not confident enough in all your bluster.
So I said fvck it and moved on. Don't have time to waste on a guy who is all mouth but won't back it up. :dunno:
Depends if Fury fights Wilder next to right ? :lol1:
Naw. I just don't like to pay $80 for one fight. Lower that amount or give me a decent undercard and I'm in.
Fury does have to settle that business with Wilder, though, before the Joshua fight can happen. And he might want a tuneup because he's been inactive so long. Meaning that the Joshua fight could very well not be next.
But you know that already. Which is why you chickened out of the bet I proposed.
Not going to spend $80-100 to watch one fight. I’ll wait for the fight to be over to see the highlights on social media. If somebody gets dropped or knocked out then everybody that is a boxing fan is posting the video minutes after the result. Only thing is you have to have patience and not that have that “I got to see it live” itch.
Back in the days we had fight parties but now nobody wants to watch any PPV’s, they just don’t care if it’s Fury-vs Joshua, Tank vs Barrios, Teo vs Kambosos and Ruiz vs Arreola none of those fights make people say I got to see this live.
I will. This is the biggest fight in a while and I for one am looking forward to it. I think you have always been an avid boxing fan and it’s only right we all enjoy the big fights when they come along.....not very often these ones this big
Only if Fury is taking his training seriously. At the moment he's drinking 12 pints a day until a definite fight is signed. I'm not wasting $80 if this clown is going to mail it in and not be at his best.
When has he ever mailed it in for his biggest fights?
I mean if you want to talk about Fury not being exciting and stinking out a fight, then sure, that is possible. But no way will he mail in this fight.

Would this actually be ppv in america?
Absolutely, ESPN PPV.
This is the type of fight you try to squeeze as much revenue as possible. No way would they just put this fight on ESPN+ or DAZN.
Havent bought a PPV in over 10 years, same for UFC (which tend to have stacked cards compared to Boxing). I stream the hell outta them ppvs. Fu.ck those promoters
If it's PPV in the US it's going to be PPV in Canada. So yes I will be buying it. It's the biggest heavyweight fight of this generation.
But of course this thread once again proves that Jake Paul's 12 year old fans contribute more to the boxing economy than "real" boxing fans.
The ones bragging about illegal streams have zero right to complain when the biggest fights don't get made.
No, I don't think PPV cards are worth the money and haven't purchased one since the mid 2000s. The only time I'll spend money on boxing is if I'm attending an event live in-person.
You can’t actually call yourself a real boxing fan and not see it , you definitely aren’t one if you say you’ll find a stream and hope it works . The poll isn’t shocking though nor are some of the comments. People in the U.K I guess have it easier because it’s cheaper there but anyone who purposely doesn’t watch it over platforms and promoters aren’t that serious about it . I’ll be the first admit to say I’ve gone on the cheap and watched fights on a stream occasionally but none of them would compare to this fight....if this cost 99 dollars I would pay for it because it’s one of the fights that come along in a lifetime ..undisputed heavyweight championship , 2 well schooled champions , 2 British fighters duking it out to see who is the Don.
we’ve been demanding this fight happens and it’s only fair we contribute financially to make sure we get this fight.
I won’t judge people for buying it in America because it is more expensive but I wouldn’t miss this fight where ever I was living
Why do you keep asking this question when you know damn well
only a handful of Americans here in this forum buy PPVs?
I have asked similar questions and only a few responded.
Which means they're streaming fights for free.
C'mon man stop this nonsense.
How many PPVs have you bought yourself?
Stop what nonsense?
Sure a lot of folks will stream, but by the way the poll is running, seems like many will be purchasing it. Hardcore boxing fans make up a small minority of the PPV buys, that much is true.
How many have I bought myself? Better question is how many have I NOT bought the last 10 or so years.

Best post. I wouldn't even stream this one for free. No intrigue. Screw the crooked trinkets.
If you cant get people on a ****ing boxing forum to purchase the biggest HW fight in almost 20 years the sport is screwed.
See, you said the biggest, not the best. Not sure it's gonna be the biggest, either. Maybe in the UK. Consider also these dime a dozen belts that no fan with dignity gives crap about. I know belts are everything in Europe tho. I personally wouldn't care if it happens.
In general, boxing is fine, but heavyweight boxing sucks.
