Honest to god I don't know how you can hate on the guy. Moving 3 divisions and lining himself up for a top dog at 140. We already know Lopez wants nothing to do with this guy, so he's moving on to bigger and better challenges.
I know why people are counting Barrios out but Im pretty sure barring a robbery Barrios beats Tank. Barrios biggest flaw is is head movement but with the size and reach he will have, I dont see it being a problem.
Prograis beats his ass very bad.
Won`t happen anyway. Prograis fights Redkach next, probably at 147 I guess, which means Prograis is tasting the waters at ww.
Chasing greatness? - Then why not be looking for the Taylor v Ramirez winner who will hold all the belts, instead of chasing a guy who got beat by one of them.
I think Tank is a good fighter but he’s already starting to approach late 20’s and far too content on not fighting the real top guys and chasing regular titles.
Let’s see if Top rank would be willing to make the Crawford v Taylor/Ramirez winner (Without asking Crawford to sign an extension to his deal which runs out in October 2021).
That is not a huge money fight enough to hold Crawford and the options they have in TR are limited. Crawford might be content getting paid so much for fighting low tier fighters. He has not even one great win. Solid wins but nothing great.

If he ends up fighting Barrios, no criticism from me. Thats a decent fight for his first fight at 140. Of course, I would have preferred a fight vs Teofimo, Garcia, Haney or Lomachenko, but Barrios is alright.
But he was rightfully criticized for his previous level of opposition.
Pedraza was a decent opponent, but then he fought:
- Walsh: typical euro level fighter
- Fonseca: one-dimensional, stiff fighter without a single good win
- Cuellar: coming off a loss, more than 16 months layoff, moving up in weight class, tailor made style
- Ruiz: moving up in weight class, tailor made style
- Nunez: just a low-level fighter who never fought outside panama
- Gamboa: old, chinny, shot
- Santa Cruz: again undersized, basic volume style without power doesnt work when you are a significant smaller fighter.
=> two top 10 fighters in a span of 4 years as a champion.
He has to attach a future credible name at 140 to deflect from the fact he"ll be fighting a journeman in barrios for a meaningless belt and a hallow "3 division champ" status. After a run of dragging up shot fighters, some of you guys actually believe they're going to throw him in with Regis?? Come on now lol
However long it works for. His fan base is currently telling him on Twitter that Prograis is “too small” for Tank, and is a bum because he lost to Josh Taylor.
look how long it worked for Broner.
Tank is just flip flopping, he's throwing out the names of the big boys and then fighting guys below them. He is not interested in testing himself, he is cherry picking his way through his career right now trying to con the casual fans that he is something special and he is doing something special. He has clout chased and name dropped nearly every top fighter from 126 to 140 so far and faced none of them.
He is also picking up secondary trinket titles and then having himself labelled "world champion" off those trinkets. He isn't chasing greatness he's making deluded idiots and part time fans that he is.
Its all business with Tank and his team, fair enough, the smoke and mirrors, the BS are not there for us, they are there for the casuals so they can believe they buying the PPV of the next American great. Obviously we can see through that smoke, we can see he's ducking all the serious threats, all the best fighters in the divisions he's fighting in.
You know that Bob loves in house fights. Crawford will cry that he can't get an opponent but they are just waiting for the winner of that fight.

He doesn’t want Prograis at all lmfao. He always talks **** on social media.
and Jesus I thought his insane fans on here were trolls until I looked at his Twitter feed.
I remembered when he “wanted” Josh Taylor and said he was calling Al NOW........ :D

If he actually pushes for a Progais fight I will change my mind that he's another Broner, but until then I think he's just gonna fight Barrios because that's the easiest fight at 140.
His fat ass can't make weight. Prograis will whoop his ass. Funny how only a year ago he was "too young" and "too small" for Loma. Now he wants to go to 140 and pull a Mikey Garcia. If he loses to the bigger fighter everyone expects it and he doesn't lose any clout.
no one ever said tank was too small for loma....and in reality no one said he was too young either...what people said was that it was still early enough in tanks career and age that not taking the fight ASAP made some sense
tank could very well become a broner though..too big for the current weight class but maybe too small to truly move up and be really good....we dont know yet
but its similar to people talking about him ry, haney and teo....and people expecting/wanting them to all fight each other right now...i get it...it would be cool...we all want it....but its not realisitic....tank is 26, haney is like 21, garcia 22?, and teo 23.....those fights can still be there down the line after these guys have built themselves into bigger attractions..it makes little or no sense to those guys to all fight each other now....it only makes sense to fans with no skin in the game......what good is haney vs tank now when 2-3 years from now it could be worth much more....what good is ryan vs tank when 3-4 years from now it can be worth 20x?
tank has been building his profile...hes sold 12k in seats in two different cities..headlined plenty of cards including his own ppv......if loma had beaten teo a fight with between loma and tank this year or next would be worth more than if he had fought him 2 years ago.....just like a teo/tank fight a year or two from now will be worth 5-10x more for them
some of you clowns dont know how to think like someone other than a fan wanting all the fights to happen when you want them.....no one said tank was too small.....you made that up.....some said he should wait loma out a bit and build his profile to make his side worth more....because thats what most sensible 24 year olds do.....think about how many people were clowning on teo and saying "oh he scared he wants out....teo is trying to price himself out because he knows loma will ruin his career" when teo held out for more money? right?!?! of course you saw that and remember that......teo needed to take the chance or else it was going to be a long, slower, road to stardom......tank knew haymon was going to build him and had a plan to build him into a ppv fighter at 26......so fighting loma at the age teo did made no sense....teo took the gamble because he knew stardom was a slower route with arum
I’ve heard that, but I just think that’s an awful business decision on Bob’s part.
You know that Bob loves in house fights. Crawford will cry that he can't get an opponent but they are just waiting for the winner of that fight.
Clearly they're building up that fight
I think Tank next 2 Fights will be Mario Barrios and Regis Prograis at 138-140 which are not bad fights actually. Of course I would prefer he fight Teofimo, Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney BUT going up to 140 is a good Challenge for him
