The fight never would have happened. Golovkin doesn't have the balls to fight at 168 lbs.
I honestly think it would be the same outcome but your post is correct. thanks for the lol
Yildrim doesn’t look to be much of a mover so I would guess the result would have been similar if Golovkin fought him. Although GGG seems to be more shopworn at this stage, so who knows for sure how it would have went down.
I mean we have seen GGG against this level of competition plenty of times. Assuming his power carries up to 168, this fight wouldn't have lasted much longer.
GGG's fights are predictable at this point. If he fights anyone overmatched, he's going to destroy them easily. If he fights a top guy in the division, then he will be in a very exciting dog fight until the end. Against top guys, GGG is pretty much guaranteed to be in a close, competitive fight. You will get your money's worth, that's for sure.
Yildirim probably a little bit less reluctant to let his hands go because golovkin has slower hands and doesnt have canelos sharp counters.
He would still end up getting hurt relatively early because it's just not a good style to be a stationary leaky high guard dude vs golovkin.
