You can rule out 160 because he's likely never fighting there again. He already said he's not serious about any runs at 175. You have to go with what is left at 168, or who is willing to jump up or down to 168 to fight him. Plant, Saunders, Bivol, Charlo, Andrade would be the ones in play.
I'm not sure what you seen in Eubank Jr. to suggest he may have more skills than Canelo so it's hard to tell if you're being serious. If you told anybody else that I'm sure they would suggest the same..
I actually think Canelo is more skilled than he is talented, but that's just me.
The fighters you named, is that in order?
In that order yes. Although I think Plant beats all of them hands down. I think BJS is the most skilled of the bunch lacks discipline and character. What I see in Eubanks is a skilled fighter that had no teacher to hone his skills. He lacks key points in his game and IMO he's always needed a real coach in the corner that knows how to bring the best out in him. I honestly dont think anybody i named could Canelo at this moment though. I think Plant is a long shot at it but he stands the best chance. BJS could possibly have done it if things were different for him but again he lacks discipline and character.
Golovkin, Benavidez and Beterbiev. Bivol could be an interesting, but boring fight. I would have liked to see Derevyanchenko vs. Canelo too. Sergey lost to guys with long jabs. Canelo doesn't have it, but he's an excellent counterpuncher and Sergey leaves himself open. Pressure vs. counter punching is always fun to see.
Ok so you start a thread with a caption saying IF Canelo is the most skilled who is second best. I responded the wrong way apparently and then I responded with a post stating I dont feel that Canelo is the most skilled and now I'm trolling. I'm guessing you just cant be pleased by any response I'll have so let me elaborate.
Canelo is a GREAT fighter. He has tons of heart and determination. His work in the gym is second to none and that shows in the ring. He has an incredible boxing I.Q. and finds a way to win. Tons of talent but talent isnt skill. I'm not sure what you wanted to hear but this is just my opinion on the topic.
The idea behind the website I thought was to debate opinions on said topic but instead debating your beating around the bush because you didnt get the response you were looking for.

I don't think Canelo is the most skilled either but this has to be a troll post..

Ok since ya gotta be that way I dont even think Canelo is the most skilled. I think BJS, Plant, Mall Charlo and possibly Eubanks Jr are all more skilled fighters than Canelo. Skill isnt the only thing that matters in boxing. Alot of other variables come into play there besides skill. Sorry I got off topic.

I'd like to commend you for being the only person to answer the question directly. I shouldn't even have to say that but unfortunately I feel compelled to do so.
But I disagree that BJS looked better than Plant. BJS shìtted on his own performance. BJS is a proven ducker & I also don't believe he can beat Plant.
Why can't y'all never stay on topic?

Andrade, Plant and Saunders are the three. I don't think any one of them stands head and shoulders above the other two. All three have fast hands, which is historically the one thing that causes Canelo the most trouble.
Decent answer(s) I wouldn't say it's the "one thing" that causes him trouble.
I'm a big Canelo fan, but I feel like Plant could beat him. Billy Joe Saunders too if he's focused. I like Benavidez, and he might give Canelo some fits, but I'd say Canelo would win. Jermell is great, but him jumping up 2 weight classes....I'd go with Canelo.
I'm not sure why people are so adamant on forcing Canelo to fight at 175. He's clearly severely undersized at that weight class. It's just an achievement he got a world title at 175 considering he started at 147. It's just like Floyd/Pac winning titles at 154. Cotto winning titles at 160. Etc.
I'm not sure why people are mentioning Jermell unless they feel he's a realistic opponent who's in the conversation of the most skilled Canelo can face. Canelo sorta opened himself up to this after going to fight at 175 in a fight nobody asked for or needed to see. But I can only speak for myself here, I don't nor have I ever needed him to fight at 175 until he beats the guys he's supposed to at 60 & 68. Honestly if he retired after fighting all the guys at 60 & 68, I wouldn't feel anyway about that either unless he took a controversial win & ran.
GGG.
I have it 1-1 in the fights
I'm really baffled on what people have seen in GGG's last fights that they believe believe he can beat Canelo never mind being the most skilled.
Not a Fury at Heavyweight or a Bud at Welterweight. Realistic options, so essentially 154 or 160 really to 168 who is the closest to him in skill?

He doesnt have the most pleasing style and is a prick but Saunders is an extremely talented/ skilled boxer. For as long as he was out of the ring,Saunders looked a lot sharper against Murray than plant looked in his against Truax,so currently I'd say
Saunders
Plant
David
Andrade
Mall
In that order

Benavidez beats Canelo IMO

Canelo is highly skilled but so are some others at 168. Benavidez is a great young fighter at 168. He is only 23 and look how good he is. He can get better at his young age. Bivol is 29 years old and a tremendously skillful fighter who rarely loses a single round in any fight and he has fought some good guys and dominated them. Bivol says 168 is his best weight and has offered to fight Canelo at 168 for almost two years now. Even old GGG is still damn good and fought Canelo about even twice and would give Canelo another hard fight unlike Smith and Kovalev..

GGG is...or rather was? Unsure how he’ll look moving forward in the next few fights but he’s up there in age.
For my money though, best skilled is Mell at 54 who I think is the better brother and also quite proven by now but he’s two weight classes away. I suspect Andrade is probably a tougher matchup for Canelo stylistically but Mall is an absolute unit of a human who I think is quite skilled as well.
At 68 it’s Plant. I think Benavidez would beat Plant though... I think he’s a better fighter due to some attributes in his favor along with style. If Benavidez was naturally Canelo’s size, not one person would favor him.
If Bivol was at 68 I’m picking him all day.
