Calzaghe. Everyone changed their tune after the fight, but Jeff Lacy was highly rated before he fought Calzaghe. And Joe dismantled him. Kessler another impressive win. Hopkins was still good when he fought Calzaghe. RJJ was definitely past his best -- but was still ten years from retirement!
I respect GGG, but what is his signature win?
The Canelo now is on a different level than 2018
I think he is improving every time out really, so I agree. Don't think it's tremendously different now vs 2018 but rather incremental. Definitely improving though, I agree
Your knowledge of the game is dishonest.
IDGAF who you are, when you 43 in the sport of boxing at the 20 year mark of your career, you shot. The opposition is shet so he lasted longer but 43 you shot.
Past his prime yes, shot? No.
That same Canelo got beat by GGG twice lol
Why? Both fights were basically the same. Canelo starts decent enough, with speed and youth on his side. That helps to neutralize GGG's workrate advantage. The early rounds (4-6 or so) are close with neither guy really separating.
Then Canelo slows down, and GGG maintains his pace and picks up some clear rounds. The fight ends with Canelo getting a bit of a 2nd wind for some close rounds again.
Those fights weren't hard to score and both only had 1 winner - both times for GGG. Acting like Canelo got any more than 4 rounds in those fights, what a low bar that is for a fighter!!

Bro the prime ggg was avoided like a plague.Canelo is an amazing fighter but i beg go watch some golovkin fights
GGG "decline" was mainly due to his vast increase in the quality of his opposition, not his age.
No way. The Canelo we are seeing now is on a different level
That same Canelo got beat by GGG twice lol
if you think golovkin beat canelo "twice" you need help and need to learn the sport or watch something else...i dont think he even beat him once...but if you wanted to argue the first one and say golovkin won i wouldnt say you were crazy lol...but both?!?!?! FOH

First one ggg second is a draw or could be argued
And GGG wasnt fully prime

I think he was being facetious but it's not out of the question to say that GGG won the first fight!
Nah, not really.
Calzaghe was good, he just stayed in his class the entire time and the only time he moved was to face older guys that were well past it.
I rate guys that move up and do big things. Joe didn't do that. His division during his time wasn't really poppin, know what I mean?
I get what you are saying but Marvin hagler stayed at 160 his entire career. Not comparing the two but I did like Joe as well!
Calzaghe of course. Even though Hopkins and Jones were shot, he got those big names in there. Plenty people had Hopkins and Jones winning too. GGG beating Canelo twice isn't that big of an achievement.
To say Hopkins was shot is a bit dishonest. He had some good wins right before and even after that

yea, those clowns are shltheads
quick way to tell the casuals from the reals
Who's resume is better as of now. NOT who's would win in a H2H fight
Calzaghe has a better resume... not even close
and Calzaghe would also beat Golovkin head-to-head
Calzaghe is not only too good, and too active, for Golovkin... he is also too big
Golovkin limit is 164, against Rolls-level fighters
come on... Golovkin would never have taken that fight
Andre Ward vs Calzaghe is a better mythical matchup
