Wow, Rollie is one of Ryan Garcia biggest haters but even he admits Garcia beats Tank, mind you, Rollie has actually sparred both. Also, claims that Ryan is actually the heavier puncher between him and Tank. This is the same dude that rolled up on Garcia during a Munguia fight in Vegas a couple yrs back with Teofimo in hand, LOL.

I admittedly still havent watched tank vs santa cruz, but dont you think tank will have massive issues with garcias height and reach advantage?
Tank isnt bouncy and quick on his feet and shouldnt be able to do quick in and out attacks like pacquiao.
He will have to work his way into range. Garcia has a lot of flaws but he is pretty good at catching you on your way in.
Garcia according to boxrec is by far the tallest guy he faced who also has solid power and as you mentioned accuracy and timing to make it difficult to just walk through his punches and close the distance.
Oh I definitely think Garcia gives him major problems for 4-5 rounds.
I think the reach won’t be a factor at all...it’s actually like 2.5in difference I believe. Tank is actually very bouncy and springs in and out of range very well. He definitely fights more flat footed when he doesn’t respect the power of his opponent. Pedraza was a good fight to watch to see how Tank as the smaller guy was able to pick apart the longer/taller fighter while staying just out of range. Garcia is tall but doesn’t fight well tall, especially when backing up.
The ring generalship of Tank and the fear of pressure and getting hit of Garcia will eventually be the ultimate decider.
Tank, GGG, Canelo, and Errol Spence have the type of generalship that make opponents have to play high speed chess due to pressure. Tank only has to avoid the left counters and for an elite and pedigree fighter like Tank...I can’t see him not being able to neutralize it.
All Tank needs is a solid, well-placed shot. Either on the chin, or a body shot.
Garcia is taller and can crack. But if Campbell knocked him down that hard, I can't see how Tank doesn't catch him and knock him out at one point.
One must also keep in mind that if there's anyone Romero loathes more than Garcia it's Davis, so ignoring the obvious - who gives a **** what Romero thinks about literally anything - there's no way to reliably know if he really thinks that or he's just throwing shade at the bigger enemy
Rollie sounds like he really believes Ryan can beat Tank. Right now, I don’t see it but that’s why we see the fights. Speculation is great for taking in circles but we still have to see the fight to get the outcome.
However, on paper I don’t see Ryan having enough to keep Tank off him. As we saw with the Campbell fight, Ryan lost his hand speed by round 4. He’s very accurate and also has great timing and that ultimately prevailed...What Tank has is a little different. I think Tank is a natural powerful puncher but what makes him special is his ability to create shots and land shots from different angles. If you look at a lot of his knockouts...he can land shots from an assortment of ranges based on his opponents head position. With both his short stature and his explosiveness...I can see him beating Ryan to the punch or use footwork to bring Ryan into the later rounds.
Ultimately, they both will have to show that they can make adjustments and take punches as the rounds pile on. I can’t see an elite fighter like Tank getting stopped by a fighter who has one powerful hand.
