Looks like he can't get any more substantive fight in-house.
All he's getting are meaningless ones aside from the 2 fights with Wilder.
Fellow PBC fighters like Martin, Breazeale, Ruiz, Kownacki, even
Washington, Arreola won't fight him.
This sport needs to move on. And Ortiz leaving PBC
should be welcomed and encouraged as time is running out for the aging Cuban fighter.
There's a good list outside like Whyte, Povetkin, Parker, Chisora, Joyce,
Usyk, and many many more.
This man has been around for a long. He has never fought Whyte, Povetkin, Chisora, Pulev, Breazeale, Arreola, Molina, Kownacki, Ruiz, Helenius, Washington. Now he says he wants to fight Joshua. Crazy.
hes been around since the creation of the earth
Is Ortiz being ducked by the top guys at PBC (except Wilder)?
Or he's the one avoiding them, and just waiting for another
multi-million dollar offer from Hearn?
And meanwhile, he'll be fighting cans to preserve whatever is left?
Bad news for him is money no longer grows on trees at DAZN.
Those days are over.

Lol..... Don't be ridiculous and naive at the same time. That ***** has done nothing in the HW division, all he did was fight Jennings, wilder and bums all through.
Called out by AJ with high career pay, he ducked, called out by whyte to come head a ppv event in UK but he ducked and chose to fight as an undercard in pbc event.
He has solid good fighters under his stable, guys like kowanski, martins, Ruiz, arreloa, breazeale but somehow he manages to not fight any of them. I will give it to him, he is one of the best duckers in the division.
Hez nothing but a pbc undercard tool/puppet prepared for wilder. He’s the one being ducked...you are an idiot.
Heads needed to roll when he was not informed Anthony Joshua was offering the fight he'd said he wanted for a career high pay day. They neglected to tell him about the offer and lied to Hearn and Joshua about his availability.
This^^^^^
Why even keep your team after that? It obvious they weren't looking out for him
The fact that he has been around forever and never fought the other guys says it all. I mean the Pulev, Chisora, Povetkin, Haye to name a few were around his time. Now he has a lot of HW in his stable and he has fought none of them. And it’s not like those guys are active, the Breazeale, Martin, Washington, Arreola etc are not that active and he should be fighting them whilst under PBC. He wouldn’t leave because his manager J is in bed with Haymon. He was talking about the offer they turned down with AJ yesterday on sky sports and saying it was more of a confusion and he was caught in the middle, and how Ortiz was promised the Wilder rematch blah blah blah.... They made this man an undercard HW to featherweights SMDH, made him turn down 2m to fight Whyte, 7m to fight AJ.
No one wanting to fight you is the definition of being a boogeyman...so he doesn't have the accolades obviously. I'm not sure if you are too dense to understand that.
It is much different from for example Golovkin, who claimed to be a boogeyman but was getting called out by 154, 160, and 168lber's left and right. Even a 147lb fighter moved up to fight him...a lot of people wanted a piece of him. He ducked the dangerous opponents and cherry picked the easier ones.
On the other hand, you don't see anyone calling Luis Ortiz name in the heavyweight division. Only ones to step up and fight him were Jennings and Wilder. Joshua was willing, I'll give him that, but Ortiz chose to get a rematch with Wilder on with PBC. None of these other top guys/contenders will fight him.

Lol....... Legitimate bogeymen? Who did he fight that gave him such accolade's? Am eager to know.No one wanting to fight you is the definition of being a boogeyman...so he doesn't have the accolades obviously. I'm not sure if you are too dense to understand that.

If Ortiz actually cannot land a fight with one of the other quality heavyweights, he should at least explore other options. Look at what Arum did for Pulev.
When he was with matchroom, all those guys you mentioned ducked him and didn’t want to fight him. Wilder was the only one willing, so he agreed to sign with PBC in order to get the Wilder fight.
He later turned down the Joshua fight on short notice to get the Wilder rematch, which he got. Haymon took care of him money wise. As for his legacy, not much you can do when no one wants to fight you and claims you are too old...as if fighting an “old” guy would be a problem if you felt you could actually win.
One of the very few legitimate boogeymen in the sport.

Ortiz walked off in 2016 anyway it’s his own fault . Haymon and that snake Jimminez didn’t want Ortiz to fight AJ ,they wanted the Ortiz vs Wilder 2 .
Either way Ortiz just has very little intelligent thinking keeping these guys around so it’s on him .His career has been a total flop .
Maybe, maybe not but Ortiz is dangerous enough for team AJ to low ball him and fight Ruiz instead.

If only the rumors of him being lined up to fight Ruiz would've came to fruition. That'd be in my opinion one hell of a scrap, hopefully PBC can still pull that one off.
Ortiz's team is clearly waiting for another huge offer from Hearn. But those days are gone. I even read Hearn suing Amanda Serrano for the initial $10K he gave for the Taylor fight and wants it back. I mean $10K? That's cheap man!

Staying with PBC is working for him.
Pretend you want some big shots, then say yes to Haymon's showcase fights at the drop of a hat. He barely lift a finger in his last easy fight with some cab driver. Easy work, easy money.
