AJ:
Needs to fight like the smaller man, dart in and out with double jabs and right hands
Pull the trigger as he is the one who carries the power
Carry his stamina through 12 rounds
Ensure the fight is not at range
Fury:
Ensure the fight is at range
Use his right hand any time AJ tries to come on the inside
Be more accurate with power punches
Be physical, hold and clinch to put his weight on AJ
I think Fury can get the decision too which is why fighting at range is his best option. However, AJ doesn't need to force any type of fight. He needs to work on getting inside on the bigger man, landing shots and moving back out again. He could do with watching Pacquiao.
AJ isn ot a 3/4 round fighter,
Fury will get caught, he has been caught a lot in his carer actually and sometimes its been opponents smaller than him that have caused the damage. AJ should look t oreplicate that.
Not sure how you assumed I said AJ was a 3/4 round fighter from my post........... I was obviously talking in the context of Fury applying pressure and leaning all over him inside from the first round.
This is what killed Wilder. I've noticed a lot of seasoned boxers are great in the clinch. Joshua needs to punish Fury the moment he pulls that ****. Just straight dirty boxing. Its actually one of the standouts of Joshua's performance yesterday. The fact that he was engaged in the clinch and rabbit punching were some of the opposites. More of that will be beneficial to him.
Joshua will lose every round he doesn't KD Fury, so he has to deal with the fact of getting outboxed and losing, then having to open up.
Fury wins ever round and stops a desperate and fatigued Joshua......... whether that comes in round 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 comes down to how much Joshua spunks his load early trying to KO Fury.
This has been talked to death so why go in depth on it now we learned not to do that with Wilder where it was a waste of time for nearly two years ,with multiple threads on it ,Furys own fans are saying they aren’t interested in the fight so ? I’m sure your the one that will be off the forum when Fury takes an L ,I’ll put anything on it . My comment was more directed how I feel you little demented boy . Ha
If you guys really wanted the fight you jump on Furys case not do hypothetically analyze it , oh yea you want Usyk next as well. Ha
Ouch! that hurt my brain reading your sentence that you managed to turn into a paragraph.
You're dumb, no doubt. (seriously, read your post back and acknowledge you are thick as ****).
I dip in and out of this forum, as I am busy working offshore and abroad....... I never leave.
If Fury fights like he did against Wilder the first time (or Wlad) he will probably coast to the UD without getting knocked down. If he tries to get in Joshuas face he could wind up in trouble.
Its Furys fight to lose really. AJ wont be able to force Fury into his klnd of fight, Fury will have to willingly go there himself to prove a point.

Fury needs to pressure Joshua and lean all over him.......... at range he needs to be aggressive and come-forward using his jab and right hand.......... when he misses with the power right from range, step-in and lean all over him, push him to the ropes, then work inside.
Rinse-repeat for 3/4 rounds and AJ will be blowing out his arse......... then step it on him and finish him.
AJ isn ot a 3/4 round fighter,
IMO, fury beats AJ inside or outside. I give AJ a slim chance at catching Fury with something big and forcing a stoppage.

- -Gonna keep it simple stupid, KISS.
AJ:Keep on keeping on as a modern record setter.
Fury:MAN UP U COWARD.
Can't fight AJ if U continue to duck .

I think this is Fury’s fight to lose
At range, Fury has the range and better jab
Up close, Fury has an inside game that Joshua doesn’t
Mid range, toss up, but Fury has the better lateral movement where Joshua is a bit more robotic
Not sure how Joshua would react to Fury’s pressure if he fought the same as with Wilder 2
Fury: be himself
AJ: improve x10000
This. He just has to get better. In every facet. He can't be this gushy otherwise we will be in for a stinkfest and he needs better stamina because he can't keep gassing out the moment he commits to trying to take Fury out.
He also needs to relax. I notice the same thing with Dubois. The nervous energy meant they blew themselves out the first time they sensed any blood. Only a guy whose come simply for a paycheck will willingly go out so easily. I sense he loses a ****load of confidence the moment he doesn't blast someone out.

I would hold off until it’s confirmed and not from team Fury .
I’m going to wait on this one .
Hold off on what? giving an opinion on what both fighters will do in a hypothetical fight?
Get off a boxing forum if only confirmed fights are worthy (in your opinion) to be discussed.
"Ensure the fight is not at range"
imagine thinking AJ is better than Fury at close range
LOL. It's a total misconception. Fury bullies and destroys AJ AT EVERY RANGE. Especially up close.
AJ is useless on the inside. Can't handle small men up close, how can he handle a big man up close?
He doesn't clinch well
He either fights too tall or too small
He let Pulev lean on him which is outright embarrassing
He's scared of counters up close
He let a little fat man spark him out
We don't even need to go into detail about his positioning of head, body and feet. His punch selection. He's just bad.
Ruiz isn't even that good up close, he's a little lump who throws flashy fast combinations. A big man should be able to step to him, let him land on gloves, arms and shoulders then follow up on him. AJ is dire.
Nevermind the fact he's mentally shot right now. Fights with too much fear.
"You've never fought a big inside fighter and I am one BIG inside fighter, 6'9" 205 cm of inside fightingness"

I couldn’t disagree more really. Fury is the bigger man and fighting up close I think would be a major strength for him, he would need to avoid the upper cut but fury is good enough close up to block that shot.
AJ is a better boxer than given credit for and for me the key to him winning is the use of the jab, he will be able to connect with fury at times- we have seen enough people hit fury in the past.
