I was surprised to see that Pulev took so much from AJ before finally being KOed.
Comparing the 2 fights, made me think that AJ doesn’t have a single puch of Wlad or Wilder. However, he is an exeptional combination pucher where he can put 3-4 very hard punches together that would cause serious damage.
I'd say quite clearly yes.
AJ can crack but isn't imo at least a true one punch knockout artist.
AJ clearly has dynamite in his hands. That one punch KO crap is a bunch of nonsense. Btw, did he not out Whyte to sleep with one punch?
There is a reason he is the only fighter to ever stop Povetkin
The only man to drop titanium chin Ruiz
You don't get frequent one punch KOs when you face top level opposition or top 10 opposition, but Joshua hurts people without even landing cleanly.

look at how much cleaner Wlad's punches landed. It may seem that he's a bigger puncher when really he was much more accurate and therefore devastating.
I don't know if I agree. Every time AJ touched Pulev with bad intentions, he hurt him. Wlad's hook was simply more devastating because Pulev did not seeing coming at all. Pulev braced for the punches Joshua hit him with and he still was hurt.
Hard to say....... I reckon they would score similarly on a punching machine but punches depend on how fatigued the opponent is and how they are braced for receiving the punch.
Off balance, not having your feet set or not seeing the punch coming and riding it can make punches seem devastating even when they are short and sharp hooks or jabs.
Joshua has power, and you do not want to be eating many of those uppercuts, hooks or straight rights.
Its such a weird delivery and doesnt look natural but its knocked so many out.
If you watch just before he does the same dip to deliver his fluid jabs ,pulev expected a jab for the fourth time in a row or so instead he put everythubg into a left hook
Wlad had so many traps and that one was beautiful
AJ isnt the same fighter since the ruiz loss. AJ is more cautious now. So he doesnt sit on his punches as much. He is scared to get hit now.
Pulev shouldnt have made it out of round 3. AJ aint a killer anymore. He is a tko waiting to happen
That leaping left hook that Wlad detonated on Pulev didn’t even look that devastating but it sent him out.
I remember when I first watched that fight, the TV crews caught a really great angle on it and caught the whole thing in brilliant slow-mo. The thing that I remember is that you can see Pulev's cheek reddening even as he toppled to the canvas in slow-mo, probably less than a second in real time. I'm convinced that punch broke his cheekbone.
That said it was a single right straight shot that Joshua finished Pulev off with, and it really knocked him sprawling. I think that punch was nearly as good as Wlad's hook. You can probably argue it either way but I don't think there's a whole lot in it.
Wlad's left hook was harder than any punch AJ has, so was his straight right.

It did actually. That was a picture perfect transfer of force, from the legs all the way to the fist.

Wlad knocked Pulev down several times, just like AJ. Depending on the shot and how it connects it could be argued either way
I agree that AJ has the best combo puches, and that’s what always seems to hurt anyone, but I am not sure how hard a single pucher he is. The reason for asking is that I cannot see AJ catching Tyson with more than single punches, and I am not sure if he can KO him with a single punch.
You are absolutely spot on, you aren’t going to be catching this Fury with a combo, nor are you going to catch him with the same punch twice.
AJ’s only hope is to catch Fury with something that he doesn’t see, or for him to “win” on the scorecard AKA Robbery.
all three of them hit hard enough to KO anyone, you can't really measure punching power based on who ko'd who quicker
I suspect wlads straight right has a bit more on it than AJ but also Pulev was fighting a lot cagier.
AJ ktfo Povetkin which Wlad could not so there's evidence both ways
But it just comes back to you don't want to be taking anything clean off either of them
Well said.... This proves you are not all the way crazy as you would like us to believe
