I'm just not impressed with the current welterweight division.

its an overhyped division. its full of american fighters so thats why its automatically considered on here to be the best and why crawford and spence are right near the top of the p4p lists. theres fighters just as good as them two skill wise if not better in most divisions. if you think about it, every single division considered 'weak' on this forum is one where there arent many american fighters at the top and vice versa Boxrec has Spence and Crawford at no. 3 and 4 pound for pound. Don't be a b1tch and knock on Boxrec's credibility. Explain to me how the algorithm is biased for Americans.

This welterweight division might be the best we've ever seen from a technique standpoint. It's a continuation of the Mayweather era. Spence and Crawford would both pair up favorably against him, while a grossly overrated and technically inept fighter like Trinidad would get completely embarrassed. Even De LaHoya was extremely flawed and sloppy with his arm punching, square stance, and caveman footwork. Guys like Crawford's are as flawless as you can get. Can you point to one gross technical flaw in his game? Because I can give thousands for DeLaHoya or Trinidad. No one from that era touches Crawford or Spence technically except Mayweather and maybe Mosley.

Couldn't agree more it's not even nostalgia I wonder where bud and spence would be sitting if they were in their prime between 2006-2014 among fighters like William's, Cotto, jmm, maidana,pac, floyd,margarito,hatton,Mosley etc I really doubt both of them would run through that list of fighters better than pac and floyd

This entire ERA is overrated but it is entertaining! They all have Flaws each and every one of them...not talking about just Welteweights but EVERY Top Fighter in this ERA has Flaws and are all beatable This aint like Mayweather ERA in which you knew Mayweather was UD inevitable or Vitali and Wlad would beat whoever gets put in front of them I like get don't know WTF would happen in a Fury vs AJ fight or a Crawford vs Spence Jr and I think that is a GOOD THING

Spence was a little better than Brook and a little better than Porter, and more than a little better than a Danny Garcia who has no quality win at the weight class.
