Kid is not ready even for Joyce level fighter. He still has a time, shouldn`t be rushed. Fight some bums, than somebody top 40, and than come back to fight top 20 guy.
i told everyone, you cant go from fighting bums who go down after the first punch to fighting JOE JOYCE
Yep
Same, I’ve been saying Joyce wins
Absolutely no idea why Dubois was the favourite, it was purely driven by unwarranted hype
One is an Olympic medalist, mixed with all the top amateurs and beaten some, and fought the far better opposition as a pro. Is also proven to be tough bastard.
The other has basically no senior amateur experience and knocked out stiffs as a pro.
On paper it’s almost a mismatch, yet Dubois was heavily favoured
Can't think of many other heavyweights who could absorb the shots Joyce did.. maybe Oliver McCall and Valuev. Joyce has one of the best chins in boxing so Dubois losing to him isn't a major setback, Joyce is likely a world top ten heavyweight. Dubois power doesn't seem to carry late into the fight though. Got flashbacks of Lacy vs Calzaghe at times with all those jabs.

Joyce level fighter?
Man is an Olympic silver medalist, hard as nails, with elite stamina.
He'll be in the fight against anyone other than Tyson Fury.
Wilder smashing his chin for round after round and JJ just looking at him with those vacant eyes.
Joyce is a fighter where the eye test means nothing. He looked s.hit on his pro debut, lol
He won't ever be at the top but he can rebuild. He needs to start with that absurd physique and drop a lot of bulk muscle. His stamina is terrible and he has awful movement even by HW standards.
fighters will be queueing up now they realize he's a quitter and he really isn't that good when you take him pass 6 rounds

Can't believe a guy like dubois is considered small for a heavyweight by todays standards. He did the right thing by quitting, something kell brook should had done.
