Claressa Shields possibly going to duck Savannah Marshall?

That loss was a long time ago. Kind of weird to be hanging your hat on that.

This is good that fans are interested in this matchup and is building it up. It is great for Shields that people think she would lose or is somehow already ducking Marshall :lol1:

That's the thing, had a lot to say but since Savannah boxed better than when Claressa boxed Rankin she's fell silent. Eddie Hearn tweeted out to Claressa about being sick of all the back and fourth and said lets get something booked to which she ignored. Very unusual of Claressa, usually has too much to say but when asked if she wants to fight she didn't respond. And she really isn't likeable most of the time, every interview of hers consists of 'I am the greatest woman of all time' 'I have two Olympic gold medals' & 'I am undisputed', she's well annoying lol. ive tweeted her a few times and she's replied. she's a good sport really..has a good sense of humour. be honest, the most historically liked people in boxing were big gobs. She knows she has to talk a lot to get attention.

actually claressa had a hell of a lot to say on twitter. she even put out a video trashing savannah Claressa is much younger than savannah, people tend to forget that. She was a kid when she was beaten by an adult Savannah in the amateurs. I hate that people think Claressa is scared. Still, I like Savannah's style. It's always amusing to watch a big gob get silenced, but then I think Claressa is also likeable most of the time. She definitely isn’t scared, she hasn’t really had the right competition for her weight class. So it’s nice that she can build this fight into the “She is scared of Marshall” scenario. Because she would not only be cashing out big but the win would be high on her list.

Well Marshall is the only one to have beaten shields recently at the amateur level, so I guess Shields would have kept an eye out for her as she turned pro. At the end of the day, it’s prizefighting and if shields can build Marshall up then it would be a major pay day for her, since Marshall is with the biggest promoter in female boxing right now.

she knows marshall would expose her thats why I think because she's the only one to have beaten Shields it's having a mental affect on her. She was hoping Rankin would win that fight and not just because they're friends.

Didn't Claressa say something about being Marshall's mandatory? I must say, Marshall did look excellent. I've watched that fight 5 times lol. I don't think so, they were going back and fourth and Claressa kept telling Marshall that she wasn't a proper world champion but since her fight with Rankin, to which she boxed better than when Claressa faced Rankin she hasn't been tweeting her or nothing and it's fell silent.

Don’t see anyone beating that Shields unfortunately, be a funny night if someone does though. She always takes the bait on Twitter I’ve noticed. :lol1:

If that was Laila Ali the woman who's now closer to being a grandma and hasn't fought in almost 15 years there would have been a response. I think Claressa may feel that Marshall has her game. Marshall is a good boxer, and I think Fury got her cutting weight and training properly to get down. Marshall could probably fight at 168 if she trained and eat for it........ Shields won't dent her and I (think) she knows it. Shields could throw 20 combinations in Marshall's face and she will not feel them, and then comes the punches coming back.... I can't see Shields doing shiat with Marshall...... every punch Marshall throws lands big and hard and every punch shields throws is like shooting a BB into a wall.
