His weakness was probably himself. He was so good, sometimes he didn't feel the need to train properly.

I could name several fighters who didn’t sport a six pack and were or are quite dangerous in the ring, Muhammad Ali being the most obvious one.

I know Shaolin monks who practise martial arts do something similar. Iam talking more about cheating . For me sex with your wife is fine outside of training. Iam a strong believer though if you truly love your wife you wouldn't hurt and cheat on her. Yes, I agree that cheating is the worst. Never done it and hope to God I never do. Yes big shame about the way he let himself go after the first win over Sugar Ray Leonard. Parting and all that. True mark of a champion is sacrifice in the face of pleasure for me .Very few had the mental resolve to overcame this including Muhammed Ali/Rocky Marciano/Mike Tyson who all liked the women to much. I dont know if he cheated but I think one that stands out for me as one who sacrificed and gave his all with training is Marvin Hagler. Have there been ANY fighters who weren’t crazy about women? I’m not trying to argue, just couldn’t think of any truly spartan fighters. Did Hagler stay away from women during his career entirely? I hadn’t heard one way or another regarding Hagler, but I know of some guys studying STEM who stayed away from women completely in college for the sake of their grades / future, so it is done. What were some of Durans weaknesses? Take it to the history section. The majority of poster here have only seen hi light videos of Duran of they've seen him fight at all.
