I think highly of Crawford abilities, and I didn't realize how freakishly long his arms are.
He has a 74'' reach which is more than Kovi or Big Charlo (as recorded in boxrec).
Since Brook fought Spence and Porter, we can compare and Bud is some big a77 dude.
He can do it all, I definitely favors him over anybody at 147 now and maybe in the last 147 decade too.
I know is record is not that good at 147, but hey, guys like Horn and Brook did competitive vs elite guys (Pac, Porter, Spence) and beat them up easy, and eye test tells me this guy is hell.
Canelo fan chiming in to hate on Crawford, right on cue lol
I actually like Crawford and think he's a good fighter. But fights like these don't prove anything.
I don't know what Canelo has to do with this.
Im 6'3 and Im not sure mine is much longer than that. Is it still measured finger tip to finger tip across your shoulders? I think mine is 78 and I have 8 inches on him in height.
YES, that's right.

My dad is about Buds height with crazy reach, he can touch my chest and Im a good two inches from him with my finger tips. He looks like an ape kind off fckn hands touching his knees, lol.
What I would love next is Bud vs Porter.
Porter is not taking a dive.
Porter said he wants it, rather fight Bud than rematch Spence.
That would be a great fight for all of us to see the level. Porter lies down for no one and would make it tough.
I honestly think Bud outclasses him and wins easy and maybe stops him late, but I've been wrong before. Depends on if Porter's size and physicality can really affect the fight.
Shame about the Spence-Bud fight. It has just lost its appeal to me because I have no idea what Spence is right now. Maybe if he shines against Danny that fight will make more sense.
The problem for Crawford is I really have no idea who his number 1 contender is right now at 147. The Spence fight looked like his legacy fight, but I don't think Spence will be the same. Hope I'm wrong but we will see. Spence also is on that Kovalev path anyway it seems, where he isn't really taking care of himself like he should be.
For Crawford to really be 'special' he may need to beat one good guy at 147, then grab a belt or two at 154, and then try and beat whoever the top guy is at 160. Tough tasks but that's what makes you a legend. I think he can do it.
I don't see him getting a ton of credit if he clears out 147 right now. Everyone will just say Spence is shot if they fight and Bud wins clearly; and the other guys there are just good fighters, no one is great there.

I see it differently
Floyd schooled the last great southpaw boxer-puncher he fought
In Floyd’s long career he only truly had a hard time with in the pocket pressure guys
Spence does better vs Floyd than Crawford could
Bud would play the boxing game with the master and get a lesson
You mean Manny?
Bud is a whole different fighter style wise, not a blown up batamweight.
"pocket pressure guy", but who is the best pure slick boxer that Floyd ever fought? Zab?
Floyd never struggled vs pure elite boxers because he never fought one.
That's why this fight is intriguing. Floyd loves to have the control with a superior reach, athleticism...he's not having it with Bud.
HO Canelo is not a pure slick boxer and he definitely wasn't when he faced Floyd at 23 and drained at 152, you can't be called slick/pure boxer when you are that much cement footed.
Canelo has gotten slicker since but...
He's a laid back guy....but I really wish he'd talk more. These guys just go along not fighting him, he needs to make some noise to make these fights happen

I agree that Brook looked shot in there.
My thread is about how much Bud is a problem, and tonight I realized how big Bud is as a WW next to Brook.
Bud looked as big, longer than Spence.
I didn't learn much other than that.
He rides Canelo like it's his favorite horse, don't bother. Canelo fans will down Bud all day and night, no matter the reason, or if it has any validity
Do you understand the concept of time?
Brook tonight and the Brook of 3 years ago are not the same fighter.
Certainly not 6 years ago when he won the title off Porter.
This is why they make showcase fights. Because guys like you fall for it hook, line, and sinker.
Canelo fan chiming in to hate on Crawford, right on cue lol
He looks like a problem against very mediocre opposition.
Can he beat Danny - Spence winner, Porter, Thurman, even that young lions like Boots, Ortiz jr. That is a question now.
I like Crawford`s skills, but after last mismatches against washed up Khan and Brook I wouldn`t go that far and say I would favor him against everybody in last decade.
You could have just made a thread saying that Crawford beat down a shot fighter as expected.

For reference Floyd is long-armed with a 72 inch reach and 26 inch arm length
I think Bud has broader shoulders than Floyd
Yep, Bud would give him serious problem IMO
So I should have made a thread, "Bud is short armed stiff with no balls" isn't it.

Crawford looks like the real deal but he still needs to fight and beat a prime elite opponent.
Brook is clearly shot to bits and he's arguably the best name on Buds resume.
