First let me say ive been a fan of Brook for close to a decade now, was one of only a few on here that picked him to beat Porter as the big dog. But EVERYTHING here points to a cash out, without even getting into whether hes shot, washed or not
Hes not with his trainer, Hearn is not even promoting this, its not on Sky, (Premier sports??) due to money. everything about this is about squeezing every penny for Kell, hence no trainer, Does anyone even know whos in his corner? im a boxing nerd & ive never even seen or heard of any of them before.
But he looks ripped doe! yeah this sceams of people never actually having seen him before....he is shredded in literally every single fight he has ever had?
His ****ing face looks like he hasnt had a glass of water in a week, he looks very gaunt & drawn in.
Listen i really hope im wrong but Kell starved himself for his last payday, he hasnt wanted to box for years now, and is only still around because Eddie has dangled the Khan carrot payday infront of his face for years and years.
Best case scenerio is im completely wrong and Brook is really up for this, winds back the years and we get a FOTY contender, but the more likely scenerio is, we see a few glimpses of Brooks former self, then Bud goes through the gears as he does. Brooks corner pulls him out/quits/gets stopped. and he cashes his final big payday and retires.

Yeah blatant cash out...
People are gullible though.
Hopefully he takes his 2 million retirement package and retires cause Brook is washed man, he really shouldn’t be fighting anymore IMO.
I dont remember just i posted in it & saw it got immediately deleted :lol1:
Have you gone gay now bro or you gonna stay in the closet and get stabbed while approaching men in shady Spanish expat towns? (sorry Kell)
Did ya see my thread where I talk about this cute little 16 yr old Mexican girl I have a crush on? That one got deleted too. Again, idk why anyone would want to delete these absolute gems of threads. Better than most things we get in the lounge.
Just to inject some objectivity to this thread: I don't think Brook is even a bad style matchup for Crawford. People mistake Brook's timing, precision and fluid combos for great fundamentals but he makes plenty of mistakes even in his prime
-Likes to lunge in and falls in to his punches, which is why he ties up very often (watch how many times he fell short and got caught in Zerafa fight)
-Moves back straight lines
-NO inside game (ties up and uses his size to bully)
-No real defense aside from good intuitive head movement and counters
-Has problems with guys with lateral movement and range
-Gas tank
Crawford is good at all these things. Also, his game changing punches are almost ALWAYS precise counters off people who fall short with their punches (Indongo, Horn, Postol, Gamboa... list goes on). Mean machine fight was an abberation IMO.
Take all that with the subjective stuff like he hasn't made 147 in 3 years, damaged goods, questionable drive, no coach and I see a likely ref or corner stoppage loss for Kell
I don't think this is a cash out. I think Brook thinks he will win and is going to try his hardest to win and trained his hardest to win.But he will be drained and he has not looked good in any fight since being KOed by Spence. I think Crawford is too good for him and will stop him in one of the late rounds.
Hahahaha I’m waiting for a ban bud! Did ya like what you read???
Idk why my threads get deleted makes no sense to me.
Can someone explain?

Hi bubbs, you ok? last time i saw you post you were making threads about sucking dicks

This very well might be the last fight of Brooks career, but I don’t think you can call it a cash out. Idk what his finances looks like, but to me, a cash out is like a 2005 Mike Tyson fighting to pay bills and quitting on the stool. That to me, is a cash out. When you need to fight for financial reasons and you don’t want to.
Kell Brook fought the hell out of Spence and GGG before getting beat. I can’t see why he wouldn’t do the same with Crawford, even though he likely will lose.

It does a disservice, because like I said, it implies he’s not really going to try to win.
So if Brook comes in supreme shape, KO’s Crawford and retires after? Cash out fight? I mean, ok, but what does that mean then? It mean’s nothing. Because It didn’t stop him from putting on a great performance.
I think we're into the weeds about definitons of cash out. Brook comes in shape every fight, dont think you can read into that. what you can read into however is, bringing his mates and not a boxing trainer to the biggest fight of his career.
Either way, like i said, hope im totally wrong and we get a great fight & Brook winds back the years. I highly doubt that though.
Not necessarily, Brook can still try to win and it can still be a cash out, no? i mean do you really think Brook even wants to box at this point? Its very clear to me, and should be to anyone that has followed his career that his heart is not in it anymore and has only been hanging around for the past few years, due to wanting the Khan payday which Hearn dangled in his face when he signed Khan.
That didnt happen, so here we are at the end of Brooks career taking his final payday as the massive underdog...

To me he’s obviously up for the fight. And wholeheartedly intends to win. We’ll see how he does now.
A cash out to me is that Abreu guy vs Ennis, who was a few days out of jail and completely soft and came to lay down. Brook has been training extremely hard for this fight, and I’d be shocked if he doesn’t fight his heart out. So I can hardly call it a cash out. Every fighter goes to where the money is (it’s why Pacquiao even ended up at 147 and why guys like Spence shrinks down to campaign there). A cash-out implies he came to lay down/survive. And I simply don’t think that’s the case.

Right so Ingle isnt going because he has travel issues, thats fine. But if he was so serious about beating Crawford why wouldnt he be hooking up with another well respected trainer? failing that....an actual boxing trainer? why is he essentially bringing his mates to the arguiably the biggest fight of his carrer? If that doesnt scream cash out then i dont know what does to you.

You’re drawing a load of conclusions while having not listened to anyone on the know’s opinion. Brook’s trainer, not Brook, decided he couldn’t train Brook because he didn’t want to travel, Hearn according to Brook was kept in the loop through the negotiations but he never wanted it and Hearn essentially cite’s no money there. Obviously the issue here is there was no money there for Brook AND Hearn ontop of that.
Brook is likely to fight his heart out, and he’s trained with the intentions of winning. So no, I wouldn’t call it a cash out.
