I see this way too much. Could Fury not just have eventually fought AJ instead of Wilder? Or do people mean he saved his career by being a hypejob that Fury could beat up on? For those in the know, please explain.
Lol I've never heard this say, but that's downright hilarious. Fury was a cherrypick gone really, really wrong for Wilder. He was looking to add a 'lineal' title to help in his negotiations vs. Joshua. Instead, he got outboxed by a fatass, was given the gift of his career in the 1st fight being declared a draw, then proceeded to take a beatdown of his life in the rematch and TKOd.
It’s true. Wilder gave him a lifeline and an easy path back to the top.
Fury would’ve had to beat a few contenders to climb his way back up but Wilder threw a lifeline on a platter wrapped in generational wealth at the expense of his own career.
I’d call it the biggest mistake in boxing history.
or what everyone would call it.
a cherrypick gone wrong

I'd argue it made his career rather than ruined it.
Wilder was making relative chump change before Fury gave him his first legitimate fight. The money he got for Breazeale and Ortiz 2 were multiples of his previous earnings.
Of course he could have stayed a paper champion by fighting cans, but his money reflected that he'd never had a big fight and the public barely knew him.
You can’t be this naive ? I just gave you a link and a direct quote dating back to 2017 on why he was coming back . What came out of Furys mouth ? What are you talking about , he’s talking about an A.J fight before 2018 ? Wilder is never in negotiations with him at that point ,Hearn is at least talking to him on it .

How did Wilder help Fury when Fury was offered A.J ?
How does one with no PPV event help a guy who has PPV value ?
Can you answer those two questions with serious answers ?
Without Fury ,he would never had got his Ortiz PPV ,people would have laughed at him . He only got that because he had Furys name attached to him from the draw . So explain to me logically how Wilder helped Fury and not the other way around ? Ha
Had Fury fought A.J he would still be twittering his thumbs off how everyone is ducking him , maybe even not taking a loss but would never had got the huge deal he got and minus the PPV which I brought up . The truth is Fury made wilder some dough not the other way around ,since whene has that happened ?
One more question.
How come when facts are presented about Wilder its hate ,not just facts ? Ha
My bad....it's some guys who do hate him too much...
I don't know why anyone would say that. Wilder fought Fury to make good money and Fury fought Wilder to make good money. Money is what prize fighting is mainly about. Neither did the other a favor. They needed to fight each other for a really big paycheck.
I don’t hate Wilder - he’s just a fake, phony and a big fraud. I’m too real for that.
And that idiotic black power crap he attaches to everything when he doesn’t care about his people is corny and nauseating.
I just can’t stand the guy.
Tbh.... He starting to annoy the fck outta me. I supported him before cuz I felt like he was the underdog getting by with no limited skill.
But I'm no fanboy of any fighter.... I'm not no fake n1gg@. Once he start doing all this BS, I wasn't gonna sit here and defend him as he make me look stupid as a fan.
I still will support him and hope he gets his shyt together.... But he keep doing this BS .. I'ma keep talking shyt. Smh.
Then the twerking.... Omfg...
LMAO. The only detention you have been in was in school.
You know I run Bocingscene - I’m like Deebo in the fcccker. LMAOO
Stay bussin’ that e-shotgun.
P.S: this forum has started blocking/tracking my IP. What’s going on?
Ha!!!! That's cute.. Bangbang.
And wym blocking ya IP? That sound sketchy asf
This isn’t true,it’s another Wilder lie .It was Hearn who offered the fight in November 2017 after a back and forth Twitter spout . Wilder was not in the picture at this time ,it is known Fury said he’s coming back for A.J. Only Warren saw a golden opportunity to reel Wilder in with fake news how he wasn’t ready in 2018 .
"I say we get this fight on like Donkey Kong," he says in the clip. " make it the biggest fight in British boxing history. I say we get Lennox Lewis involved. I say we get Frank Bruno involved. AJ-Fury, it's on." T . Fury October 2017
Fury had made his comeback with tune up fights with A.J in mind however he had agreed to a Wilder fight he had demanded 60 % to fight A.J,it’s clear he wanted the WBC belt and was offered 50% so he himself took way less money on a Wilder fight .

How u gon ignore what came out Fury mouth....
It's like y'all dislike Wilder so much y'all can't accept him offering Fury a fight.... Cherry pick pick or not.... Helped Fury... Which he even said
If BAngem who hates Wilder probably more than everybody can admit it.... Why can't yall
That situation is void. The man had it set up the entire time knowing his wife was going to cheat on him as he took the bus pretending to be broke when he’s actually a high roller . He records his wife doing other guys ,he has a video collection and he sells them to his club members .
The person in charge of his club and distribution is Frank Warren it’s called All Wives Cheat .
Lmao..... How this turn into a Lifetime movie
LMAOOO. I like yer analogy. Thumbs up!
My guy, Killa Mane, the internet killer bussin’ his e-shotgun. LMAO
Killamane the felon putting y'all chumps up on game 🤷
Wilder calls it a life line. His fans and his wrinkly manager calls it a life line.
Literally EVERYBODY ELSE knows it as a big fat cherry pick.
there is a video where even Wilder says to Fury it was a cherrypick when he said he was over 400 pounds and hasn't fought a chihuahua in more than a year+
It was a cherry pick, but then again Fury did admit that Wilder's trash talking helped to motivate him to lose the weight and get back in the game.
Wilder didn't save his career though, Fury would've come back anyway and he would've made it back to the top regardless due to his outstanding talent.
Wilder giving him a shot just made it a faster process than it would've been.
Man this is fkked. Are you saying that man deserves a pat on the back for getting the man to work? Considering what he is now doing to that man's wife?
No..... I'm saying it doesn't change the fact he helped him get to work. U worried about intentions and etc etc etc.....
U stuck on opinions and intentions.... Which don't change facts.
Exactly.... If u have no way to work and I give u bus fare, that mean I helped u get to work.
Me giving u that bus fare to get I to leave your home to fck your wife doesn't change the fact I helped u get a ride to work lol

I see what Wilder did but considering his intentions I'm not sure I want to give him any credit for it
Everyone knows it’s a cherrypick for leverage in negotiations with AJ gone wrong.
However, it doesn’t negate the fact that he gave Fury an easy lifeline back to the top and that’s why Fury is so entitled.
No is saying he helped Fury because he wasn’t trying to help the guy. He was trying to use Fury and ended up being used. But regardless, it’s still a lifeline because Fury would’ve had to beat a few dangerous contenders to even sniff a mandatory spot.
Exactly.... If u have no way to work and I give u bus fare, that mean I helped u get to work.

What he really means is he thought Fury was an easy cherry pick that went wrong.
Fury had been disgraced and was going through many personal and mental health issues.
Wilder’s team looked at him as a broken fighter and an easy win for his hyped up resume.
Yeah but did he do it to help Fury or did he do it cuz he saw it as a big name for his resume at a bad time in his career?
I'm not arguing if it was a cherry pick..... It obviously was.
But that doesn't change the fact that said cherry pick helped Fury....aka lifeline.
U can't help someone but have bad intentions.... That doesn't change the fact that helped the person.
Let's not hate Wilder to the point we can't admit that.
The intentions don't change the fact that he helped Fury.
So it was a life line wrapped into a cherry pick which elevated Fury career and backfired and probably destroyed Wilder career.
