Is Wilder ducking AJ the first self-admitted duck in history?

Anyone actually paying attention at the time should have known, it was that obvious. Turning down meetings, demanding acceptance within 24 hours without seeing a contract, there was never any mystery as to which side prevented that fight from getting made. You don't turn down $100M+ and the shot at undisputed without even negotiating if you like your chances. Not saying it couldn't have worked out for Wilder, he thought he could get Fury underprepared, he was wrong and has paid the price, big time and Joshua lost in the meantime also, but the fact is the Joshua Wilder fight wasn't made because of Wilders side, even he has now admitted it, end of story.

George Foreman has claimed that his people called Tyson's people to ask about a fight, Tyson wanted nothing to do with it, and George was relieved. So they sort of ducked each other. This was during Foreman's second title reign and after Tyson got out of jail.

Joshua and Hearn were trying to get the fight on - Wilder and Shelly were lying to the boxing public.

Wilder tried to hide the duck, got a bunch of moronic racists on YouTube to make videos of it and then made a fool out of all them by coming out and admitting it.

Well, BJS admitted to not being ready for GGG some years ago. Caleb Plant has been doing his best to justify the duck vs Canelo. Every time he tries to explain it it gets worse. The new one is that training is too hard or some crap. Deontay took a calculated risk. Thought Fury was done and that he was better than he is. Blew up in his face.
