In the GGG fight, Brook was tapping his eye, looking at his corner.
In the Spence fight, he was tapping his eye again and took multiple knees.
"But but but meh aye, i coulda been blind...."
Dude, it's a boxing match, any punch at any moment could kill you anyway. The sport is kill or be killed. Plus, you had one good eye, and was fully coherent in post fight interviews.
Guys like Spence, Pacquiao, etc would keep fighting with an eyeball missing. You'd have to carry them out on a stretcher.
"but but meh aye felt strange......"
Brook lacks something in his character that makes him look for a way out.
Any man that goes "Cruising" at night in Tenerife cannot be trusted.
Bud is gonna expose the Hoe in this bytch. AGAIN.
Pretty sure the goal of boxing is not to kill someone. You’re an idiot. Having said that I think Brook will quit.
Kill or be killed is a metaphor u dumb fck. It’s the mentality you must have to succeed at the highest level.
Brook is not a quitter. GGG just destroyed him.
Crawford would "quit" very fast under GGG`s punches.
Not a chance
Crawford doesn't strike me as a quitter
Fucking clowns who've never had a real fight in their lives calling Brook a quitter for not going 12 rounds with broken eye sockets against 2 of the hardest punchers in the game.
I’ve boxed plenty unlike u, so I know what I see.
Brook tapping his eye and looking at his corner the whole fight was a bytch move, and exposes himself.
2 hardest punchers in the game? You don’t get credit for losing, clown.
Learn something about psychology u dumb bytch.
We've seen plenty of guys fight through worse than Brook did in Spence 2.
Face it he's got a streak of yellow in him
You would leave a streak of shit behind you on the floor if somebody dragged you into a boxing ring.
And what happened in Spence 1, btw?
I can see him retiring on his stool, Doctor Stoppage or Corner throwing in the Towel
Feels like he is Cashing Out
Dont forget the looking at his corner with puppy dog eyes move, they throw in the towel and he pleads with the ref and his corner like he really didnt want to quit.
Seen that one before, idk if it was brook or khan or some other quitter but that is a quitter move. Probably rehearse it in camp.
khan and brook are from the same cloth, they have a loyal british fan base that keeps buying their fights no matter what. They are not that different than Chavez Jr with his dwindling yet loyal mexican fanbase. These guys get paid more than they are worth, will fight anyone for the right price but they are just there to collect a check, when it gets tough they will quit, they dont fight to win anymore. Theyve also realized that they will continue to get big fights and good money even in a loss so they arent willing to take more damage if they dont have to.
Armchair fans: "Brook could feel the bones moving around in his eye socket, making him cross-eyed, putting pressure on the optic nerves, and he quit!"
Also armchair fans: "AJ didn't quit!"
but Ur an armchair fan ?
GGG broke his face. Brook had a broken orbital bone and needed surgery, where the surgeon told him that if the eye had sustained anymore damage he would've went blind.
Brook was 176 pounds at the 30 day weigh in for GGG, then he made weight at 160. 8 months later he dropped down to 147 to fight Spence. I think Spence gets too much credit for breaking the other orbital bone because it's likely that GGG had inflicted so much damage to Brook's whole face that the other side was still compromised at that time.
So if you break your right arm your left arm breaks easily?

For starters, Spence nor Pac have ever faced that situation, so you can’t really say that they would fight through it.
IMO, if you have broken bones in your face, you get a pass and should not be labeled a quitter. Just my opinion.
