Why did it take 10 years for Kell Brook to get his first world title shot? He turned pro in 2004 aged just 18. He got his first world title shot 10 years later against Shawn Porter.
Why did it take 10 years? He was undefated and well known to Boxing fans many years prior that title shot.
so you don't know.
ok, got it
Jesus you are dumber than I thought. Why did not Kell Brook have a solid career? Do you know? So you dont know. Ok, got it.
do you actually know this, or are you just making assumptions?
You sound really dumb. There are 24227 proffesional fighters out there. How many have achieved what Kell has? Made as much money?
Anytime he was going to step it up there was some type of injury and then he took on some no hoper fighter.
He was in the muck of the Pac and Floyd era and never did an effort to jump into the mix
no he didnt LMAO 😆
solid post.
i would put those choices down to fear and cowardice tbh.
Well regarding if he had a solid career or not. It depends on how you look at it. He has achieved more in professional boxing than 99.9% of the fighters out there. He has also made more money than 99.9% fighters out there.
He has not had a ATG career like Lennox Lewis or a HOF career like Naseem Hamed but he has had a good career.
He was fighting nobodies for the longest.
His first real fight was Porter for the title.
Before that his best wins were Senchenko and Jackiwicz who were both pretty garbage.
He did it just fine. They fed him with some fringe contenders before he was ready for a world title shot.
IMO GGG fight was his big mistake but I don`t blame him. After that he kept making big money even fighting bums.
he had a very solid career. IMO Crawford is his last big fight.
Back then they kept good fighters on a steady streak of minor step ups and didnt want to make the challenge for a title until they had major experience or they peaked maybe for the best or hed have been kod as many times as khan
