one of the greatest donaire deserves to be up there with pacquiao, but because he fights at a lower wgt, he's always been in considered less skilled, or in the shadow ultra aggressive, pure offense, which is why he's exciting, and the same reason why he lost a few. (in addition to the fact he fought at a higher wgt) i think he's better than pacquiao now.

He’s definitely cut from the cloth of the throwback legends we speak of with so much respect and admiration for the willingness to always aim to win and fight anyone win lose or draw! Give Prime Donaire his past prime version willingness to not rely on one shot and he’d be in conversations of the upper echelon of all time greats but nonetheless he’s still a future HOF, legend and all time great in my book!

Great fighter. In his prime, at 118, an absolute scary fighter. Hardest punching Bantamweight of all time, easily.

I'm surprised that he managed to last this long. I thought after the Walters fight he'd basically retire. But he's hung in there and 6 years later he's managed to remain a force in the division. Would love to see a rematch with Rigo now.

He probably is all those good things. He hurt his record by fighting in too heavy of weight class and getting himself beat. If he had never fought above 112 he might have no loses. Agreed, great moment in a legendary career. If I put that clip in a highlight reel video for Donaire, I'd between the Darchinyan KO and the Montiel KO.

Hold up with that 4-div champ, he’s aiming for 5. After this Oubali fight, he might wanna consider moving down to 115 to win a title. It’s weird that he didn’t get a title in there. During his time, the only belt holders in there were the guy he beat already (Darchinyan) and the guys he beat later on north of that weight (Montiel and Narvaez) yet he never got a title in there Hope he starches oubali and gets that 115lb belt to do that at 38/39 were talking about foreman levels of comeback.
