The first 5 rds neither guy did anything. Then lomo beats down Lopez 7-11. Loses rd 12. That’s the whole fight. Loma didn’t land anything significant at all 1,3,4,5,6. Lopez may have not either but he was punching a lot. Whether they were being blocked or whatever doesn’t matter. It wasn’t effective boxing at all but he was getting the rounds. Yes, when Loma turned it on he completely overwhelmed Lopez and won those rounds far better than Lopez won his, but still.. he got those early rounds because of Lomas lack of production. The scorecards were atrocious.

7-5 Lopez, but the scorecards were indeed a complete joke. I agree. You can make a case for 4 or 5 rounds for Loma but that's it. Lopez was the winner!

Cards were trash but live I couldn't see getting to 6 rounds for Loma. Ward's card was interesting because in a way I could see it - in a 'hey this guy is getting dominated but did something in this round, let's shade it to him' way. Was a great fight imo though. Really enjoyed it

Lomo won rd 2 and 5 and then won 7-11 clearly. He battered teo. I had lomo winning the fight by 1 rd. at most it’s a draw. There is no way in hell teo won rds 7-11. That’s bull****. That was a bestdown in those rds. This was a fixed fight with the judges. Arum fixed it. Loma did not win the 5th. Rd 2 was close. No one did much. Loma took it to Teo in the 2nd half. Loma is going to kick himself when he watches the replay.

I'm gonna have to rewatch the fight but my feeling was Loma landed maybe too few in round 2, was hurt in round 12, and didn't really step it up till round 8. I thought it was competitive but if anyone was gonna get the decision, I was thinking it would be Lopez.

Agreed. I had it 8-4 or 7-4-1 Teo. Loma didn’t get set up. He gave away rounds 1-6 and lost the 12th. I’m frankly still shocked he got outboxed like that. Totally let the first rounds go by the wayside. I think they feared Lopez power off that Comney fight, which was a mistake. I’d love to see a rematch.

loma does good against guys that fight like he did for the first 6 rounds. Guys that don't throw punches and are on the defense the whole fight. He was afraid the first 6 round
