Garcia has a very good chance in beating him in his next fight. 3-1 odds for Garcia is pretty decent. I see Spence vs Garcia almost the same as I view Spence vs Porter. Garcia being a dangerous foe and having his moments against Spence, but Spence pulling through. If Spence continues to face and beat big name opponents, he’s on his way to becoming top boxer P4P.

I didn’t know this is a fight that was on people’s radar seeing as that they are divisions apart, but I believe that Spence walks around 170 and Canelo walks around 180 or so, so they are similar with walk around weight. Canelo is too strong and big for spence + way too skilled. He has fought at 175 ibs while spence is a 147 ibs fighter.

No. It will never happen. They are much too far apart in weight. Canelo is completely done with 160 because he can no longer comfortably make 160. Spence is 30 years old and not a growing teenager. He has no problem making 147. A great natural welterweight fighting a great natural super middleweight is not going to happen because they are 21 pounds apart. Even if Spence goes to 154 he is still 14 pounds lighter and you don't give a fighter of Canelo's ability a 14 pound advantage.

Spence vs GGG is / was a more realistic fight. PBC were offering that to GGG if he signed with them and at his age it might be competitive.

I can’t see Canelo making 160 lbs unless Spence decides to fight at MW next September or somethin like that. It seems Canelo makes weight for whomever he wants, so I won’t rule it out. Honestly, Golden Boy’s in the toilet nowadays so it probably wouldn’t hurt for Oscar to do something like sign a 2 year 10-fight deal with PBC to at least pocket some money and give us some big fights. They are many wgts apart. Someone wrote that Spence walk around Wgt is 170 lb while Canelo’s walk around Wgt is 180 lbs and they said that their walk around Wgt is the same. In boxing 10 lbs difference is not the same Wgt. This fight ain’t happening till maybe in 10,15 or 20 years!

If he doesn’t fight Bud I couldn’t see him chasing Canelo. I won’t be supporting him until we get the fight we want most. Building up a fight for five years is over in my book.
