Like clockwork.........
It hurts the sport and confuses casuals who automatically starts to think the guy who lost isn’t good!
Lopez is the man of the hour but his flaws was very evident late, needs to shore up his defense late in fights and work on his inside game cuz Loma was hitting him with flush shots when they were close!
I hate that Saturday night high dudes have after a fight... Where they either label a guy a bum or hypejob or label a guy the greatest of all time
Like clockwork.........
There's that. A lot of people considered him washed up after that KO loss in the 2nd fight but before that there were people who were rooting for him to lose because he was an HBO fighter. A lot of people didn't like that he was ranked so high P4P either. Non boxing fans. Promoter/adviser type fans. Sucks because a lot of us like to look at the sport in it's entirety.
Yeah, but there’s a lot of people who don’t follow the lower weight classes so they just assume everyone’s a bum. Noticed it big time before the WBSS when I was telling people
Inoue was real deal top 10 P4P and people were losing their ****.
Once SSR beat him, everyone turned on him.

Everyone is a fraud once they lose their 0. You should know this lol.
And yeah, none of them are hype jobs though. Esp. With Choco beating Estrada and set to fight him again.
What kind of faggot doesn't like Chocolatito?
All u can do is shake your head......
I mean we all have our biases but some people just take it to a different level. Too many 'real boxing fans' on here do it, sadly.
Post of the year...emotions get so high for some on fight night that they go so overboard in all directions...can't score fights properly and then hype/hate on some guys so over-the-top

I agree 100% and it angers me because it seems to be the most vocal of “fans” who are like that.

ang yet he got beaten up and humiliated by a journeyman
Yeah he lost to Salido absolutely, Credit to Salido who did some good things in the ring vs Loma for sure

6 Years Later Loma recovered from that Lose, gotten better from it and is now one of if not the best P4P :dunno:
Mark my words. Lopez will expose Lomachenko.Lopez by TKO.
I wouldn't go that far after all he has achieved in such a short time in his professional career up to now.
I'll admit at first I disliked the hype and all the praise Lomachenko was receiving at first I thought some amateur is getting all this praise in the professional ranks already and was happy at the time he lost to salido when they fought.
But then he bounced back and continued winning fights/winning belts and making more off a name for himself in ring so in that term i'd say he has earned some off the hype and has accomplished a fair amount up till now which many fighters have not been able to do so...
if Lopez wins it will be a big victory for him in general, I reckon this will be nothing short of entertaining and competitive, either way It will be a fight to keep an eye on hard to pick for me personally who will pull off the win..
Gonzales isn't european... he's from Nicaragua? Which is Central America.
And GGG had two career defining fights with Canelo (who is currently P4P no.1 on some lists), one of those fights many people think he won.
Yeah, that's why I addressed only the 3 Euros.
You can't be a "Hype Job" when you dominated the Amatures like he did and won 2 Gold Medals so no he is NOT a "Hypejob" do some people overhype him? Absolutely but you can probably say that about all the most popular fighters in boxing being "Overhyped"
Loma is the real deal, been watch that man for a long time through Amateurs, World Series Of Boxing, Olympics, the man is a excellent Boxer. Loma beating Teofimo would only be a big deal because it just so happen to include the Final Belt for him to snatch up to become Undisputed but other than that...Teofimo is not on Loma level based on Accomplishments not even close
