Andrade beats Charlo Easy.

Boo Boo vs Charlo while would be a unification fight BUT has the makings of a stinker unfortunately.

Andrade and Charlo are the best available fight for each other. But I guess Jermall should rematch Korobov first.

you're using the worst of amir against elite opposition, vs the best of andrade against weak opposition. i wasnt claiming they fight the same style. they have similarities in speed and predictability. Andrade has the same set of moves..and so does amir they both lose steam in the latter rounds and then the fight goes the distance. the only similarity with crawford and andrade is their stance.. but Crawford changes tempo back and forth to toy with his opponents. it's fair to saw what andrade can do, crawford can/has done, but he's not limited to that, andrade is. when andrade fights, midway point i start falling asleep because it's the same damn thing. at least with amir, his weak chin makes it exciting lol. i have my own take on amir's weak chin though, but i wont bore you with that. (Was gonna write more but felt my comment was getting too long) Amir does this in a lot of his fights if not all. & he was a 7 to 1 favorite to beat DSG. If your a 7 to 1 favorite, the consensus is your not fighting an elite fighter. That was a fight Khan was supposed to win. But let's talk his other fights that I don't consider elite competition to make the comparison more tailor made: Prescott, Maidana, Peterson, Algieri. I think all these fighters at the time he fought them are on, at, or around the same level as Vanes, Nelson, Culcay, Akavov, & Sulecki at the time Andrade fought them. He got KO'D by Prescott who has 18 losses. I think that's all I need to say there. Maidana is the only name who maybe doesn't belong here. I think he was a more improved; an elite under Robert Garcia. But Khan almost got stopped & lost about 5 rounds on most cards against this Maidana, this caliber of fighter. He also lost rounds against a PED'd Peterson. & Algieri won 4 rounds against Khan. Andrade got KD & lost 9 rounds collectively imo against 5 different opponents. & he's 5-0 (2 KO'S) Khan has gotten KD twice, & lost 14 rounds more/less against 4 different opponents. & he's 3-1 (0 KO'S) But officially he's 2-2. I used more opponents for him & Andrade still outperformed Khan against similar level of opposition. Speed? I guess.. but nobody ever really compares their speed I honestly haven't given it much thought. But predictability definitely not. Their versatility isn't even comparible. He doesn't make the mistakes Khan makes & Khan is no where near as athletic to get away with the "mistakes" Andrade makes. Who finishes a fight as fresh as they did at the start? Andrade doesn't give back rounds the way Khan does. That's definitely not Bud & Andrade's only similarity. I doubt Bud himself would say that. We can agree to disagree but this is just my perspective on this.

Andrade cannot beat Charlo because he will never fight Charlo or any decent fighter of note. His career is over; he's under contract to fight nobodies and do 15k viewers on DAZN. Once his skills start to decline some young up-and-comer will beat him to get the scalp on his resume.

The southpaw angle is about the only interesting hurdle for Charlo in this potential fight. I think Andrade is too unfocused & lackadaisical at times in the ring to beat a tip top guy in his prime. I think GGG is his best bet these days. Charlo stops him. Canelo stops him or 11-1's him. BJS decisions him. Andrade is overrated as fook in my eyes. Since Whyte finally got brought down to reality Andrade might be the most overrated title holder in the game. Hopefully we can see Andrade in a fight with SOMEONE of note, Charlo or someone else, soon instead of speculating all the time. Andrade is starting to burn daylight on his career, 33 in February, & he's got a bunch of fights on his side of the street that should be easy to make. True. The Korobov thing doesn't count. You don't duck someone to fight a better opponent. If Ramirez gave up the belt so he could fight Josh Taylor instead of Jack Catteral no one would accuse him of ducking Catterall. So thing would apply to Andrade choosing to fight BJS over Korobov. I never said it was a duck and it was Korobov who was scheduled to fight BJS not Andrade. Andrade passed on Korobov and ended up fighting nobody. Saunders ending up withdrawing also and Andy Lee stepped in and wound up winning the vacant WBO strap.

Beating Derv the way he did was impressive. better than ggg and daniel jacobs did against him. then again maybe as a defeated man already, derv wasnt on it anymore like before.. but it's still impressive. Charlo did well tonight, but dervyechenko was tailor made for him. Derv is short likes to come inside and outpunch you with not much power. Charlo had a big size advantage over him. Korobov is washed up and gave charlo hell due to his southpaw stance. Andrade is younger slicker and more slippery and a southpaw. Andrade pieces up charlo for a clear UD win. Make it happen.
