$80.... it’s nice to be optimistic isn’t?
But then there were these things:
The problem with DAZN haters is that you guys always had an agenda. Hope its karma for this card and the next PPVs too.
Every new gen consumer knows “per month” for any type of digital online purchase (excluding boxing too) means that you can cancel any time.
Therefore, $19.99 was always a PPV for a months worth of content. You bozos would say “month” yet never acknowledge the year price. That’s obvious agenda driven.
Karma.
More people will watch this than watch Mungia fight on Dazn. And people wonder why Dazn is dead
This forum barely has any stories on this event and they have the same parent company as Showtime. Few people know who the Charlos are and there isn't a single person in America who could pick out Rosario or Derevyachenko out of a lineup. It's not looking good.
These are the fights PBC originally promised would be on free TV.
That’s where these fights belong.
At $80 and going up against a better hyped UFC event this one will bomb hard.
How do you guys think the promotion has gone?
There's been a promotion? I mean yeah I saw there was a youtube video on the backstory of the Charlos posted to boxingscene and these videos you just posted but I've haven't seen anything in other mainstream news. Whatever happened to boxers going on late night and other mainstream TV shows?
I think the promotion is just as good as any other fight out there. Outside of boxing websites/programming, I haven't heard anything about this fight. Typical boxing promoting at work.
i think our british boxing fans should just kick back and watch. you’d think they know better since eddeh has quietly snuck back to the uk with his tail between his legs. If this ppv does over 150k buys thats a success. and i wouldnt be surprised if its successful
Golovkin vs Monroe peaked at 1.47 million on regular HBO. His next fight and PPV debut against Lemieux did 97k.
Charlo vs Hogan peaked 275k on regular Showtime.

You're not very smart are you, you just post whatever for replies and attention but you make no sense 99.9% of the time. Not only that...You're a Brit, you know SH^T about our US Market and how it works but yet you pretend daily like you do making a complete ASS out of yourself
Also "CUTE" how you accuse else of having an Agenda when you clearly have one yourself which is basically to Praise and Promote all things DAZN while bashing everything else. Yet you spend your entire day accusing everybody else of the very thing you do daily
YES, people would rather pay up for a PPV one and done rather than pay for something Monthly that they will barely watch because it is not enough content to keep them on that APP Daily like what Netflix, HULU, DISNEY+ and other great streaming services supply.
For example, despite UFC having its UFC Fight Pass and APP, more people still buy and pay for their PPV's the traditional way which is through Cable or Satellite TV because for many it is just more convenient to do so
The Promotion been good starting on Sunday during the NFL Games on CBS, they ran this Promo often during NFL Games:

Also some good Content on youtube from Showtime Sports
I think the PPV will do Decent for their 1st PPV Event, probably even overachieve and do better than most are expecting. Great Weekend of Combat Sports and I'm watching them ALL (Chavez Family Card starting on Friday, Dorticos vs Briedis, Stacked Showtime Card and UFC 253! :dunno:
A guy at my job was talking about the Tyson-Jones fight.
So I mention to him, "What about the Charlo Bros fight? It's a real fight this weekend."
He said he'd never heard of them, and we're in Houston.
Zero buzz. The only rumblings in this forum are about the PPV's price, foreshadowing a grisly buy number.
I say it bombs, does under 150k buys. Some PBC source will leak out a fake number to Jake Donovan and Mike Coppinger though. Expect a "trending/tracking" towards article with misleading numbers.
Exactly this! It does 100K PPV and PBC hides the numbers and inflates them. Charlo is just now stepping up to a top MW, one who has already lost to two other top MWs. He's fighting leftovers and it's still a 50/50 fight that no one cares about.
