I'd say he definitely has the potential. Just having potential doesn't automatically mean it will happen though. Honestly I can't see Floyd having the time to take a job like that. You would think a man with his resources would have bigger and better projects going on
Just watched Culcay vs Derevyanchenko and Mancini made a few good points. Problem is he made them over and over and over again. It got incredibly annoying. Charlo actually was more objective. Floyd has the knowledge but he may end up talking about the defensive end of the sport too much.
Some of the greatest to fight were terrible commentators. Lennox, SRL, etc. I don't think Floyd would do well at all.
SRL might be hands down the worst.
Just like Roy Jones, Paulie Malignalli, and George Foreman.

What if he breaks out bawling in tears that he has a history of?
Nah. If feel like he’d just make it about himself. I’m not just saying that because Floyd is Floyd. A lot of fighters turned commentators either make it about themselves or they make suggestions for the fighters as if they fight like themselves.
Maybe. He would be much better than Ward and Bradley because they both stink in my opinion. Mayweather knows boxing like few others and if they paid him lots of money I think he would do a good job as a commentator.
