I've seen a lot of people claiming that Whyte would simply walk Wilder down and KO him, no chance.
Dillian has no defence & gets knocked down and hurt in every fight.
Wilder would detonate that right hand and shatter that jaw all over the ring.
In fact I feel that only Tyson Fury has the size, footwork and skills to neutralise Wilder’s nuclear weapon.
Anyone who thought Whyte just does what Fury did is simply a casual and someone who doesn’t know shît about boxing!
Whyte doesn’t have anywhere near the defense, foot speed/footwork, size, reach, and ring IQ of Tyson Fury!
Wilder would catch Whyte with either a counter right hand bomb or or the emphatic 1-2 nuclear that puts him on Wilder’s highlights as soon as Whyte makes a mistake!

Now even Deontay Wilder is clowning Dillian Whyte. It's translation in Russian means I believe in "An eye for an eye" :lol1:

Wilder was offered $5 million. He turned it down.
Easy fight easy money. He turned it down.
Kills me with these fanboys.
Irrelevant to the discussion. We're talking boxing in this thread, not business.
Whyte would have a good shot of winning, hell I would bet on him.
Until we see how Wilder responds to his loss. we don't know what he has left.
Wilder fought a bunch of nobodies, Whyte has fought way better comp.
AJ and Povetkin both won Gold Medals, Wilder fought Fury (which was a cherry pick gone wrong).
I think Whyte is very lucky that he never met Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury in the ring.
At least he's still got his health, those two would probably turn him into a cabbage.
whyte would take it slow v wilder and wider would be cautious too until it opens up later on, no early KO but a very messy missy type of fight with a highlight reel ending for wilder eventually
Talk is easy.
Wilder fought a somewhat similar seasoned fighter at an advanced age (Ortiz). He got rocked but recovered and won the fight. Whyte was good night. Besides, Whyte doesn't have much head movement and neither is he fast on his feet. I would say he would be there for Wilder to hit and a Wilder right hand is much more devastating than a Povetkin uppercut. So, most probably, lets say 8 or 9 out of 10 times, Wilder will beat Whyte with a devastating KO. I leave 1 or 2 chances because Wilder himself hasn't got the best technique and can be caught though he prefer the long range game which minimizes such chances.
Let's be honest here.. who did Wilder knock out in 3 rounds who beat top level fighters? No one. Likely Wilder would get outboxed for 6 rounds before finding the shot.
But in general I also think he'd win.

I’ve always felt Wilder ices him early, I still think he probably knocks out another overhyped Matchroom Heavyweight.
There’s only one Brit who can beat him and we all know who that is...
It's still not a bad fight imo, while I think Wilder would be favourite Whyte has more than enough power to KO Wilder (or anyone else for that matter) if he catches him clean. It's also noteworthy that while Wilder is an extremely hard puncher overall, the punch that appears to be Whyte's kryptonite is the uppercut, which isn't really a punch that's prominent in Wilder's arsenal. Assuming that Fury beats Wilder again in the rematch, I'd be interested in seeing Wilder vs Whyte as a crossroads kind of fight to see who has first challenging rights to whoever the division kingpin ends up being after Fury and Joshua end up fighting.
